  1. Our case status updated to Issued yesterday! And it also says the visa has been printed.

I am wondering how long we can anticipate it will take for my husband to now receive his visa via DHL. We've been waiting soooooooo long! Now that we are close to the end, we feel even more anxious! I'm just trying to get an idea of what to expect. I know not to book any flights until it arrives, but I want to make some tentative plans at least! I also check out DHL account like every 3 hours now looking for a DHL number. Nothing yet. Anyone's experience would be helpful. Although it is my understanding that Mexico has their own special streamlined process, so I'd be especially interested in other Latin America & South American experiences. THANK YOU!!!

  2. My husband has received the approval notice for the I-601, Waiver of grounds of inadmissibility. The consulate in Guayaquil, Ecuador has contacted him and told him to send in by DHL his passport & updated new medical exam. He sent those in on Monday, 4/7/2014. DHL tracking indicates the consulate signed for it on 4/8/2014. What can we expect for the rest of the process until the visa is actually issued. The CEAC system still shows as Refused from the original interview from back in Sept 2013, but it has been having regular updates on the status date, most recently today. I assume that date updates anytime someone looks at anything about his file. I've seen multiple other waybills listed under his registration on DHL throughout the week in addition to his original one. All of those extra waybills are going to the consulate too, most from Guayaquil, but a couple from Cuenca. What is likely happening and what else can we expect?

Thank you all for your support. While I only just recently joined as a member, I've been getting a ton of info from this site which has helped us immensely!
