My husband, and I nearly had heart attacks when we saw the AOS disappear, and the file Say NVC. We never understood the processing order at the NVC it is a truly random process. We were expecting our case to complete a few weeks from now. We hope that everyone will get their case complete soon. Best Wishes...

On the CEAC website it stated processing time are at 30 days, but they told my husband on the phone 11 weeks. Does anyone know if the posting times in CEAC are even close to being accurate?

Good morning, I believe our Scan Date is 4/24/2017 as thats the date the representative told us they received the file even though it was at their location a few days before. Thanks.

I am the petitioner. Could someone please tell me which packet to put my divorce decree in. Would this go into the IV, or the AOS?
Also I noticed a check list. Do you only receive a checklist if you failed to provide something, or is this standard with every case? Thanks so much for all the help.

Hi there,
I'm stuck on two areas of the I-864 EZ. Can someone please help?
My wages that I entered in tax information field which came from IRS tax transcript (part 5) was actually less than what I calculated for my annual income. This amount on transcript was less due to unpaid time off.
On (part 4) I have to list household size. I am only petitioning my husband. So would I list spouse as zero because he is already included in field 1a, or would I just leave that blank? Thanks for the help.

I just contacted Congress will update this post if I ever hear anything of use. As for going to the local center the tier 1 lady was adamant they wouldn't help.

I was told by tier one that going to USCIS Local Office would be a waste of time as case would have to be past the processing date. I ended up cancelling my appointment.

I'm so very sorry Maja. it's not a great system. All we need are realistic expectations, and answers. Waiting in the dark is an awful experience. If a considerable time has passed it would be nice to simply give us a courtesy update with possible file goals. I truly feel for the ones who have waited longer than us. According to processing times Nebraska has only moved 7 days in the past few months. I follow USCIS on facebook and they state their procedures are as follows.

I'm so sorry your wait has been longer. It would be nice to at least know what the hold up is instead of stressing people out this way. We all have the right to know about the status, or the payment we invested towards this. Tier 1 is just a big roadblock, and after speaking to tier 2 I haven't much faith there either. I almost feel tier 2 told me what I had hoped to hear to get me off the phone the requests will probably go unanswered. Very Very Disappointing. Wish you the best of luck.....

I spoke to a Tier 2 Supervisor 5 days ago. Tier 2 Supervisor Advised he would be emailing the officer at Nebraska Service Center who would be making a decision on our case, and we would receive a response in 1-5 days. Our USCIS account states. As of March 28, 2017, your general inquiry, referral number**********, is currently not assigned for processing.
Today was the 5th day, and still not assigned for processing. I called, and spoke to Tier one. Tomorrow it has been 7 months since our case was filed. He said tier 2 is not available and that it would be 3-5 days before I could get a call back. They can't give anymore status. They have a cut off point as to how many calls Tier 2's will take in a day. Now I've got a secondary request going As of April 4, 2017, your Other - Tier 1, referral number **********, is currently not assigned for processing.
I almost expect there will never be any response.
Tier one kept asking for my A# but I'm a US Citizen, and I explained that. He kept saying i understand how you must feel but offered no solutions. I feel like I'm going in circles, and worry our file may be lost because files with later priority dates have been approved. The wait is getting more difficult, and I'm frustrated that I cannot even track my case. When we first started the process the processing times showed 5 months across the board. As soon as we apply the back log happened. Our priority date is 9/7/16. It's really sad what they are putting people through.

Oh yes it is hard being without loved ones. Our wedding anniversary is next month, and I have been without my husband since May 2016. I just don't understand how the NSC can be so agonizingly slow. They even had workload taken off their hands and given to other centers, and they still remain behind. We should have the right to get answers for this, but we just cant. I noticed the later processing dates being approved too, and that concerns me. I worry there may be an issue with our case, and I'm sure you feel the same. Hope all in the same boat remains strong as well.

Last post I will make for a while. I am happy for all who have gotten approved, but feel bad for us, and the others who have had the unfortunate luck of being assigned to the Nebraska Service Center. I am not even sure how i ended up there as I live in Oklahoma, right next to Texas! Our case has a PD date of 9/7/2017. Case processing times on USCIS website from December 31, to January 31 there has only been a week of movement at this center. No further updates. I called customer service and they wouldn't help. They keep referring to processing times on the website. We are now 198 days or 6.5 months in waiting. Does anyone think it's possible we could get to tier 2 support at the service center even though NSC is processing applications of 8/9/2017. I was told by representative to cancel info-pass appointment as it would likely do me no good. Just want to hear peoples thoughts on the matter. Also wanted to say thank you to the people who have guided me along, and wish you all the very best of luck.

Is it true that there is no electronic processing for NVC and London embassy? Just read a post where someone had said the abbreviations were the consulates, but some of the abbreviations don't make any sense? Thanks

Thank you for your advice it does help me to understand the process better. We just haven't been able to get an update on our case, and its frustrating nearly 6.5 month later, and I'm sure a lot of others are feeling the same. We all just want to be reunited with our loved ones. I would have thought that when Nebraska would have transferred the cases to other service centers that they would be further ahead than they are. The other service centers even with the transferred work load are further ahead of Nebraska still. Anyways, as you said nothing you can really do about it, but thank you for responding to my post, and best wishes to everyone.

Hi, I knew about the transfers to Texas. However, our case never did. Even though Nebraska transferred some of their cases they are still the furthest behind, and all the other service centers are far ahead. Just so nerve racking, and confusing. Thanks for your reply though. =)

Country is irrelevant in the matter. Country of residence of the beneficiary matters when waiting for a visa to become available (if you aren't in the unlimited categories). Cases are received and processed as they enter the service centers. Processing time is impacted by case type and location. You are probably seeing a lot more Filipino and Mexican cases getting their approval because there is simply a much, much higher volume of cases, as they are the two countries with the most applications sent to USCIS ever year. My I-130 was sent to Texas and was completed within 52 days of receiving NOA1. I have seen people, also from Mexico, who had their cases sent to the Nebraska service center and are still waiting/just got NOA2, and have a priority date a week or two after mine. Another thing that can delay processing at USCIS is if a background check needs to be done, as this is completed by the FBI, and from what I can tell, the process is slow.
I can see that you've been waiting awhile, have you contacted USCIS or are you still within the "normal" processing times for your service center?
Yes, I have contacted them, and they basically said until the processing times say as of 9/7/16 they cannot give status, and it was pretty much pointless doing the info pass. We are waiting at the Nebraska Service Center where the processing times don't seem to move. Thanks so much for your response.

I seriously doubt we will get a July interview for my husband. So unsure if I should join July Board. If that happens. Ill need medical attention.,,,
