  1. Guys my wife got her passport packet along medical packet. never felt this much happy in my life. Thanks alot guys

i literally pray for u guys.. all of u get visas soon. AP is heartbreaking procedure for the couple and families.

    @sarach

ALLAH KRE ur husband get the visa by next week. You are getting constant updates. and one thing i like to share here. yes its better to keep low profile in this crazy world. But Pakistan is little different. When someone get married. They have to openly declare it.. so all of ur relative and specially your neighbors should know this. In your case Sarach sis.. your husband had previously married. So embassy had to verify your marriage. Hence they sent their ppl to your husband house to satisfy themselves. I hope they went back with positive and satisfied mind.

  2. Congratulations Mueed.

Alhamdolillah for your wife's visa. Masha Allah your family is complete now and I pray that Allah SWT let everyone join their loved ones and myself also.

Thanks to Allah SWT and thanks a lot mueed as you were a very helping companion to the VJ community who are in AP. Remember us in your prayers and also when you would enjoy happy times with your wife then dont forget us and make dua to Allah SWT for all of us.

Thanks for kind wishes :) i can feel the pain you guys r going thru.. i pray for all of you. Inshallah soon you will all hear the good news. Its a beginning of the new Year.

  3. My case got an update today on 8th February (Sunday) as I had updates on 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th February.

I cant understand the reason for update on two off days (5th February National Holiday) and Sunday (weekly off day).

Can any of you guys share your experiences regarding what happens when case get updates on off days?

Well that's good news for u that you got 5 updates this month. atleast they are working on your case. as you said in your earlier post that embassy has your passport and its expired. So they might send your passport back to you for renewal and then issue visa. hopefully this nightmare will end soon for u.
  4. My interview was ok, there was no objection, no additional requirement, this is an arranged marriage, nothing bad every thing

ok as per CO you will get your visa in 1 to 6 months.

my wife contacted the senator 2 times in 2013 but also got same AP reply, no additional favour from senator beside sending an email

and getting same ordinary AP reply from embassy.

and in 2014 embassy did not reply any of our email not even updated the case on email inquiry.

    Plain AP.........3 years 4 months 15 days............

This is so depressing :( I pray u get out of this nightmare soon. 3 years in AP

    Heartbreaking for the couple

  5. I got first update of 2015 today ( feb 6) , after two months, it was automatic update. I did email a few days ago but they never replied so i am assuming it updated on its own. Keep me in your prayers all, my husband medical expires end of this month, i hope my case is progressing. I am so stressed out

First of all I congrats to all who got their visas. I was away for a while so could Not post. I got 3 updates after 4 months :D on 4th 5th and 6th jan. I m v happy that they are working on my wife case. I don't wana get too excited. But sort of relief for me. I pray we all get out of AP soon.

  6. same here

    :(

our medical is expiring end of next month.

Dear hope for the best, I have heard that embassy fully try to issue visa before medical expires even if 1 week left in medical expiration. Embassy calls the person and ask the applicant that if they can travel in 1 week. So pray and be ready. Hope we all get over nightmare AP :/ I pray for all our VJ family here.

  7. That the exact same thing VO said to my wife that we have to do some office work and u will get your visa in 3 to 4 months... Its been 1 year she is in ap.

Main koi jhoota dilasa nhn donga but prepare your self for long time kyn k same wohi situation hai apki jo meri wife ki hai...

    What is your priority date?

I know bro, VO just gives you standard time of AP. And as for as I know there is no priority date for spouse category. Correct me pls if I am wrong.

man i just had a mini heart attack reading your posts, I thought you read that off the ceac website, so this was the letter given to your wife, I think its just the dreaded AP.

Lol any update on your husband case? Was he given similar 221g like my wife? If u dont mind telling us here. :)
  8. that does not look like a normal AP to me since it says 'denied' anyone correct me if i am wrong that shouldn't it say 'under review' or something. has ur wife been to US before?

I am not sure as well, that what kind of AP is this. But on 2nd paragraph of 221g. It also states that your case has been placed in administrative processing. If proved, we have your passport. We will place visa into it.

3rd paragraph states that when your visa is issued, you will have to pay $165 after you get your passport.

  9. Welcome to AP family my friend. What they said to your wife how long it will take to finish their office work?

VO said after the interview that everything is ok from my side, nothing to worry about and kept my wife passport. And no additional documents required. Vo told my wife you will get your passport in 3 months. Vo also said that they have to get clearance from Washington DC. It has been 3 and half months in AP as of today.

  10. Your case has been denied under section 221g of immigration and nationality act.

statute says, in part: "No visa or other documentation shall be issued to an alien if (1) it appears to the consular officer, from statements in the application, or in the papers submitted therewith, that such alien is ineligible to receive a visa or such other documentation under section 212, or any other provision of law, (2) the application fails to comply with the provisions of this Act, or the regulations issued thereunder, or (3) the consular officer knows or has reason to believe that such alien is ineligible to receive a visa or such other documentation under section 212, or any other provision of law

What does it mean guys? Anybody got clue?

this is what my wife got at the interview :(

  11. Yea I did email the embassy after that. I got worried that why NVC representative would ask me about how did my wife interview go. But when I asked if anything wrong. She said nothing, your case is still in administrative processing.

And I did get an email from islamabad embassy that your case is in still administrative processing and nothing additional required

  12. Our medical will expire in 2 and half months. So if visa is not issued in 2 months from now.. so basically by the time embassy request for new medical.. more time will be wasted. Then here comes i864 because tax season is here. They will also ask to submit new i864 and federal tax paper. More time will be wasted. When you r down . U tend to think negative. So m mentally prepared that visa will not be issued in next 6 months or more.

  13. I suggest you to email the embassy right away, maybe they might have requested some kind of document. And similar thing happened with me. When I called NVC to check the status on my wife AP. NVC representative asked me after asking me the case number and names etc.. NVC representative asked me that how was ur wife interview. I replied well VO said that interview was good nothing to worry about. We have to put case in admin processing to get clearance from washington DC. It made me think that why NVC representative would ask me that how was the interview since there was nothing wrong and no additional documents were required. Then I asked NVC representative that is everything ok? Any problem. . I tried so hard thay I can get any answer from the representative. But representative said your case is still in Ap. And no additional documents required. You just wait AP to be over and you will be contacted by embassy.
