  1. Short of convincing your wife to fly in before your appointment tomorrow, the next best thing is to attend the interview alone and explain the family medical emergency that warranted your wife being out of town up till that very moment. Ask for a new appointment there and then, with a formal letter asking for the reschedule, have printed out documents of your wife's trip out of town if available - a copy of her train/ bus pass, plane ticket etc. If you have text messages stating her inability to make it on time (provided it doesn't paint the wrong picture of your marriage).

If your wife can write a letter tonight, sign and scan it to you so you can attach it then do so. If not then she can send an email stating her inability to make it.

Really it is a desperate move right now. So you have to give it your best shot. This is what I would do. I hope this helps.

yea well i already suggested the bus ticket thing too.so she said she was gonna send it, trust me idk if she has or not but am trying my best to get this thing over with, cuz she doesnt even understand tht its a life and death thing, shes insistin she cant leave her mum or so excuse whatsoever, i was even thinking of going with a lawyer but she was feedind me the reschedule craps......i think i would just just show up with adequate proof and see how is goes the interview is on wednesday..idk with her i still believe it can stil go right ve had people go alone.

  2. Hi everyone,

i have been on my adjustment of status for over 8 months now, i went thru the up and down of it,but barely a month ago i received my interview notice and informed my spouse about it who happen to be out of own with her mom who is on chemotheraphy, so she said she will show up, so last night she said she might not be able to or she wont be able to that i shouldnt raise my hopes up, most devastating statement ever, so now am stuck with what to do.....anybody ever been in suitation like this? cuz am confused, i was even thinking on rescheduling but looking back that i started my journey in march 2014 and just getting interview notice in december this really suck...so plz beautiful people any idea??

  3. Well, this might sound really odd and off, but my friend wants to know how to go about renewing her uk passport while she is here in the state illegally. well, she is here on DREAM ACTs so that explains a lot so now she wants to renew her uk passport but after looking online and finding out how to go about it she was required to send a copy of her green card or visa in any case, so what can she do here and if anybody knows the right info and source be plz post it on here!...thanks

  4. Your joint sponsor is not willing to help, find another sponsor ASAP. Don't wait time on this sponsor anymore, it will not go anywhere.

If you find someone is willing to do for you, tell them to make new I-864 along with their most recent tax transcript, then send them in with your RFE letter. You can explain on RFE headletter that the other sponsor is not willing to sponsor you anymore.

3 RFEs are too much already, I don't know USCIS is that patient with you, normally they only send 2 times. You have to act accordingly, otherwise your application will be denied, and all your fee will be gone in vain, most important you will be illegal if denied. Good luck.

This is the letter he wants to send along with pink papers which he wants me to sign

I ???????? agree to sponsor ???????? Based on the understanding that ?????????? will not be a financial dependent upon ??????????, The United States Government and ????????? will not become a Public Charge. If ?????????? encounters any and all unlawful incidents I ?????????? will not be held responsible for ??????????reactions or any financial debts he will owe. I ?????????? as a sponsors will not pay the cost of emergency Medicaid or other emergency medical care, immunizations or testing and treatment for communicable disease symptoms, short-term noncash emergency aid, school breakfast or school lunch, Head Start, student financial aid, Job Training Partnership Act programs, certain noncash services that are available regardless of income, or many other programs that have not been named as “means-tested” benefits. As a Sponsor I ?????????? am not liable to pay benefits used before a public notice. I ?????????? agree to earn credit for 40 quarters (about 10 years) of work history in the U.S., according to the Social Security Administration. I ?????????? will not accept financial responsibility if ?????????? becomes sued for and crimes in the United States or any other place in the World. I ?????????? agree to reinstate ?????????? residency in the United States based on the understanding that ?????????? agrees to these terms to continue his college degree and he is responsible for his own person.

  5. Hey, i need help here plz.....the guy that filled my i-864 is like backing out and the other day they sent an rfe that they needed his tax transcripts and he kept on posting me that he has no time to send it.....its over 30days when the uscis asked for his transcript now....so now he said he will send it on the condition that i will sign another note saying he will not be responsible for any financial difficulty i might have, that he could only assure me of good character and behavior.. even after i explain that's my least concern that its just to get my green card and starts my life, he insists .....he wants to send this note together with the transcript...so what do u think???? and trust me i don't have anyone that can file this affidavit of sponsor for me!that's why it looks like am stuck ! if not i would have look for someone else. okay even if i found someone else how can i handle it since its already half way done.

  6. Okay guys, i need a real advice here on what the best thing i can do here,....An rfe was sent for specific documents which i provided and my very close buddy which is my joint sponsor on my petition was asked to send his transcript....but he said he cant give it to me, then i shared the idea of giving him the rest of my document so i can send it himself alongside his transcript.....unknowing for me that this guy sent his W2 from the military meanwhile hes on active duty......so again about 2weeks ago they sent another RFE at least lucky it wasn't even a letter of denial, so they only asked for my joint sponsor tax transcript which took him about a week to print out from irs website since he claim to be extremely busy....anyway he was able to print it out about 2 days ago! okay now for him to send it became a war......so couple hours ago he told me hes skeptical about the whole him being my joint sponsor that he wants to talk to lawyers and adviser next week....THIS IS A VERY GOOD SIGN HES BACKING OUT...so at this point i happen to be the most confused man on earth!...since his name is already in as my J.sponsor, what am i gonna do now that hes backing out...Meanwhile i can get another serious sponsor if it boils down to that..But i need HELP so bad right now that i dont know what to do...My application has been there for 4 months now!..No EAD,,no Nothing...direct message is also welcomed

  7. In my opinon i think u should talk to an atty. cuz that looks like something a lil bit serious, cuz that as a matter of fact could result in detaining if you are properly cleared which is possibly the last thing you would need right now....well it could go well since i was convicted too, but when i was filing i sent in my court disposition and you know all police clearance and every paper to show i already paid for my offense!....so people saying this that about deportation is very less likely that happens, u already did ur time or paid your fine, so why will they try convict u again.......Basically just sent the court disposition along with the paper work and hope thing work out fine!....but try talk to an expert, there are lot of them that does it for free out there i mean initial consultation.....GoodLuck

  8. Trust me....that was one of the smoothest interview i have read on here in a while....that went really GOOD....but you know the IO wouldn't just want to give you the green card like that so you guys dont think its that easy....we all know the way this guys play their waiting game..!! so relax and start popping wine cuz to me you already have that......he didnt even ask for details like the way they normally do..lol!... just chill u got it already!.. but plz try keep us informed.

  9. i had no idea she filed single cuz since she said i wasn't working so she possibly went ahead filing her return......so i just saw it now after getting an rfe from the Big boys that she filled single so am about to reply to the rfe by sending the requested transcript so >>>>> is this in anyway gonna send a wrong signal to the officers like a fraud marriage or something cuz its probably wrapped around my head right that it could flag something...but we have been marriage for over a year now anybody got a clue??

  10. When you fill out the form I-864 it is REQUIRED to send the 2013 TAX return transcripts the other 2 years are the optional ones. Since You Already got an RFE on this form I Would Suggest playing it safe and send all 3 years for your wife AND your buddy.

okay one other thing is that the form i-864z is what my friend will fill out right and not the regular i-864 which the petitioner would fill

  11. as Stated above your Wife and Your Buddy need to fill out a form I-864 EACH even if your wife doesn't meet the requirements she is still the petitioner and the primary sponsor. Your Buddy is the JOINT Sponsor who Does meet the Requirements. EACH of the have to send copies of Required Citizen or LPR Verification like copy of green card or US Passport and They each have to send their 2013 Tax Return Transcripts. If your buddy has no kids, wife or dependents then he would have to earn $15,730 and from what you said he meets this since he is a member of the US Military. Your Wife Would have to earn $19,662. Here is Where I found this information: http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864p.pdf Good Luck!

Thanks so much...you mentioned somewhere there, they have to send 2013 tax return transcript....is it only the tax transcript and also is it for 2013 alone or three recent years as stated on the form?

  12. Believe it or not this is the best forum for relieving immigration headaches!!

Okay so i received an RFE couple days ago....i received about 6 pages yellow colored papers, kinda scary but i got to find out that the only one that could give me chronic headache was the i-864 which is common around here, so first they said the i-864 they received wasn't sent from the sponsor so first question is does the sponsor have to send it himself( They repeated the rfe Twice) and also they said the joint sponsor didn't meet the 125% requirement.....so my question is here is am really confused about what they mean here........ cuz the i-864 i sent out was filled by a bud of mine hes an active member of US military beside his income i believe was more than 26k no wife no kids and he has about 5 other Assets including his 2 vehicles, and houses....but the thing was that at the time we send out my package we didn't include his tax docs and other document you know since its optional so we didn't include it.......so IM SUPER CONFUSED RIGHT NOW since my wife who is my petitioner didn't file any form i-864 shes a Graduate student she doesn't work to earn that much or lest say she work maybe less an 30hrs/wk.....and they said my joint sponsor income was enough like really? cuz i was thinking they said it wasn't enough B.cuz they didnt see any evidence like tax papers and co..or my wife who's is the petitioner have to be the sponsor-er too or what is possibly going wrong here.so plz answers would be so greatly welcome..even inbox messages is highly allowed :clock: :clock:
