I just paid my visa and i saw that the receipt expiry date is on the 30th of September. Should we get an interview date before the expiry date? Cause we are planning to have the interview by the first week of october.

Help please..

The expiry date means you have to paid the visa before that date. Like yours you have to paid the visa before sept.30 and its good to know that you alreday paid your visa. Then after paying after 4hrs you can now start looking or choosing for the perfect date of your interview!

Hello greenbaum....another question is do i have to prepared a police clearance from other countries if i worked there? For my k1 interview?

It will be nice to see the appointment process go back to normal = go online click to continue to calendar and see two months of choices.

A month advance won't hurt you; after all who actually waits 5 months after interview to fly to US? Only if it is a really big gap like 3-4 months it starts to be a factor. You will be fine.

The medical date is the expiration date of your visa when issued so doing your medical too far in advance of your visa approval can cut the "back end" before you travel short.

For example: You do the medical July 30 but you have a Sept 30 interview date and your visa is approved and delivered to you on Oct 10. January 30 your visa will expire. So six months from your medical of July 30 is January 27 2015.

So be careful of the scheduling of your medical.

You can complete the pre-registration form online any time before you medical, then print two copies to bring with you.

Priority date is the RECEIVED DATE printed on the NOA1, if you really want to know that date.

Reality is USEM does not use the priority date with the K-1 visa, so you could put any date in there without issue

What is the case ID they need in the form to schedule interview? Is that the manila case number?

What visa type am i going to choose to schedule an appointment.? Immigrant or non immigrant?

Nope you do not. We are at that stage also. I am sending in the paperwork to my fiance this week. I have yet to get an MNL # so she can schedule. I hope this week!
