Where EXACTLY are you guys checking on GC production status? What site should I check to see the OPTIMIZED or whatever?

I am in the exact position........waiting to hear from yall.

Hi yall......my husband immigrated to US about 1 month ago and still no GC in the mail. We did not know about the $165 fee to be paid for the GC....not sure how we missed that. Anyway, I am not trying to get on ELIS to pay the fee. My question is .....Am I using the IOE number or the GEO(our original case status number) where it says DOS? I tried with the IOE but it's not taking.....

Anyone had this issue?

What's the average wait time? It's been almost a month since here in US.....CR1.

Should I inquire at SS office? Where can I check on GC?

No.....I'm not getting busy signal! I'm getting the automated response saying that due to hi calls I should call back later. And it hangs up.....does not give me the option to hold....

I'm trying to call NVC at 603-334-0700 and the automated response said to call back later and it hung up. Is there another number? Just trying to check on my case

Hi Sony119, you should def submit the original marriage cert. The good news is that you can always get more originals from the registrar in GT, it's actually an easy process. I'm going thru the CR1 process and my hubby got several originals from the registrar in GT.

Not sure why its taking so long to get the IV bill.....but I'll go ahead n send the AOS and IV packet tomorrow.

Hey yall.......I paid AOS on 10Nov.....showed PAID on 15Nov. But still no IV invoice as yet!! I'm checking on the CEAC site daily. ....same place where i found AOS invoice. Am i supposed to check somewhere else?

Should i just go ahead and send AOS/IV paperwork?

Hey yall. I'm the USC wife.....and I'm preparing this AOS/IV packet. I was divorced. Do i have to send my divorce decrees.....or does that only apply to beneficiary? Also.....do i send my birth cert as well as his(beneficiary)....or just his?

I have no idea! I have the Cover sheet sent with welcome letter. But I still can't find a Cover sheet in the receipt section of CEAC........So far have only paid AOS fee...if that matters

Where is the DS 260? Or do I have to wait on that also?

IV fee is not available as yet. This is so confusing. Do I have to wait for IV bill before I can do DS 260??

I just paid the AOS fee. There is no bill for IV fee as yet. How long does it take to get IV bill? And also, do I have to wait on IV bill before I can fill out DS 260?

Try calling a few mins after they open or right before they close.....That worked for me.

So we just got approved yesterday. What's next? I noticed some people are saying to call the NVC in a couple wks for a case number. Will they mail the case number to me......with instructions on how/when to pay fees? Or does everyone have to call and get the case number. This is all so confusing. I really dont care to be calling NVC daily or anything. I guess my question is: Is there a letter that comes in the mail with the case number and instructions?

My case was transferred today as well......waiting for the hardcopy notice.

I did EXACTLY that!! We were put in AP, and the CO told us we might as well get married because she doubt the K-1 will be approved. We had lots of evidence but had only been engaged for a year, and I had not visited my fiance after the engagement(was waiting to visit for the interview). Anyway, after they told us AP, we went and organized a beautiful wedding and got married. I came back to US and filed the I-130. More money......but it's all good. We later received the K-1 denial letter stating the relationship was too short.
