Just want to check with folks for their experience regarding the interview today in Mumbai embassy? Any Visa approved?
Thanks and appreciate your help.
-
Did you find the answer? I have a similar situation... your experience will help me.
Thanks.
Hello,
I filed an IR1/CR1 visa for my wife and daughter. I will be scheduling an interview for my wife and step daughter on the ustraveldocs site. When I log into the ustraveldocs site with my wife's account, I see our daughter as a family member on her account.
My question is:
If I schedule an interview for my wife, will that automatically cover my daughter? Or do I have to login to the ustraveldocs site with my wife's id to schedule and interview and login with my daughter's id to schedule a seperate interview for my daughter? My wife and daughter are in India and they do not have internet access.
Thanks,
Harry

I am waiting for my case to get completed ......I submitted AOS docs on 28 July but received checklist for the same on 22nd Sept and replied the checklist with correction on 23rd Sept.............so I called NVC and talked to one of the supervisor called Sylvia....She said that it takes another 60 days to reviews docs.. Do NVC take another 60 days to check checklist docs.......That is too much
For me it took 50 calendar days for NVC to review the checklist. I hope yours get done faster!

I haven't seen any interview scheduled for Indian embassy. Anyone?
-
Typically it has been 50 calendar days from the date you submit the response...

We got a CC complete on phone today for package sent on Aug 6th and scanned on Aug 11th. Also the representative told that they have started scheduling the interviews but he was not sure when they started!!

Got a CC complete today. Sent package on Aug 6th and reached officer's desk on Aug 11th.

I had to send AOS two times... and each time I had to wait 60 days!! I am not sure what hell is going on at NVC. First time, I sent the AOS in June and then they came back in Aug and told me that they are missing the complete AOS!!!

We got multiple checklists for
1. PASSPORT POLICE CERTIFICATE
2. Financial Evidence (Not sure how AOS was missing but can't argue with NVC... so had to send again)
3. I864 --> Part 3 is incorrect. Item 7. The total number of immigrants listed in Item 7 must equal the number of immigrants listed in Part 3, Items1 through 6.f. In addition, you must also verify that the total number of immigrants listed in Item 7 matches thenumber you entered in Part 5
- In Part 6. Sponsor's Income and Employment, please correct the following...[x] Item 13.a. You must include your _____2013___________________ tax and income information.[x] Items 13.a.1. The income you enter must match the total (gross) income reported on your most recent Federalincome tax return. If you filed Form 1040EZ, use the adjusted gross income instead.
You must submit the following financial evidence:[x] A written statement indicating why you did not file ____________2013________ Federal income tax returns.[x] ___2013_______________ Federal income tax returns, IRS printout, or Letter 1722 issued by the IRS.
4. One time they misplaced my son's I864 !! Had to send it again and wait for 60 days for them to review

PPC in India has to be obtained from Regional Passport Office (http://passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/online/pccOnlineApp)... Police station will not give a PCC.

I just got email from NVC saying that it will take 60 days to review the documents after a checklist ( see my other post for email http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/508278-cr1-nvc-delay-just-got-this-email-from-nvc/)

Hello All,
Just got this email from NVC...WTH are they doing there? 60 regular or business days?? Did anyone else receive this type of email?
Dear Sir/Madam,
The National Visa Center (NVC) received your documents on 16-JUN-14. We are currently receiving an increased number of approved petitions from U.S. Citizenship andImmigration Services. As a result, we are experiencing increased review times for documentsreceived. We expect it will be at least 60 days from the date we received your mail before we complete thereview of your documents. We will notify you when we review your documents. We are working to reduce these processing times and we appreciate your patience.

Same here, it has been more than 3 weeks since I mailed my AOS package... everytime I call NVC ....they have their standard answer "it will take 30 business days"...
