  1. Pirklin is correct, see here: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/jamaica/231771/PDFs/2013%20Ask%20the%20U_S_%20Embassy%20-%20Sept%2011.pdf

So should be good for one year from when it was issued.

I think we got ours in August 2015 and we did the interview in November 2015.

Excellent. Congrats. Things are moving a long pretty well.

I understand the 1 year, but what i dont understand is she said its good for 1 year but they want accept it if its 3 months or less , someone from jamaica ask a question about police certificate

  2. One year, but the embassy will only accept them three months or less.

I don't think thats right Pinkrlion , when you get your p4 letter it states if your police cert is more than one year old you need a new one, if it was only good for 3 months or less, that mean everybody who do a cr1 visa in jamaica will need a new police cert because by the time they turn in there iv package till the time for interview date 30 days at least for cc, and 90 days to 120 days for interview

I am sorry to hear that!! but like everyone said, you should convince her first to take a little bit more of time to adjust, not just to give her the way out. It's a process to go through, and it must to happen! even after the long process of waiting for the approval and issuance of the visa, she should give you, and the country that she suppose to call "home" in the future.. maybe at least try to stay a month...!!!

Really wish you guys can figure it out, and maybe just pospone her flight...

you people really dont get it, dont you thank the guy has tried to convince her, you say dont give her away out, you want him to hold her against her will, hey she wants to leave, dont waste no more of your time you wasted enough time

  6. HI, I am new to site, but will get to the point, my fiancée came over on a k1-visa back in OCT 2013 we never got married, do to me finding out she was still having a affair with her ex duing the whole time of our k1 was being process, so I sent her back DEC 2013, so if one day I want to start another visa app how long do I have to wait, and will it be better to do k1-visa or cr1 since I already been thru k1
