Well, Jean and I had our interview at the U.S. Consulate in Costa Rica today -- and we were approved! He gets to pick up his passport with the visa on Monday. Thank you so much to everyone on this forum for keeping us sane and helping us along in this process. Even if we didn't write much... we have been following everyone's progress and we wish the best for you all! Every day is one step closer to being next to the one you love.

Jean just scheduled our visa interview for next Thursday at 12pm!! The best part??? I am leaving TOMORROW to go see him in Costa Rica -- a trip we planned months ago! It was just great luck that we got to schedule the interview for a day that was during my visit. We are SO excited!!!

I got a text from USCIS last night and called my fiancé right away to check out our case online -- we were approved!!!
