Hi all,

I got my green card today but it has my maiden name. This is how I applied but now I'm concerned maybe I should have used my married name since I was married at the time. I guess my questions are should I be worried when applying for work or removing conditions for 10 year card? My ss card has my married name so it does differ from green card. If I leave alone until the lifting of conditions can I change at that time to reflect my married name?

i had my interview last August 9, 2006. Even though the consul told me "congratulations" i still ask her if iam approved, she said "yes" i saw when she put a pink stripped APPROVED K paper on my folder and i saw it again at releasing section---- i never got any peice of paper asking me to submit more documents or wait until u hear from us.... i paid the delbros for visa delivery----- but until now i dont have my visa yet. Im worried coz my batchmate interview (friends) had their visa already, embassy release their visa 2-5 days only after our interview date----------but WHERE IS MY VISA???????????????? IM WORRIED!!!!!!!!!!!

ty for the congrats. I asked the consul before i leave if iam approved even though she told me already "congratulations" then she said "yes ur approved, go back to ur sit and wait for ur number on board so u can go to another window to discuss the delivery of ur visa, then i saw her grab the pink stripped sticker with " APPROVED K" ( by the way there are two types of sticker in front of her the green stripped APPROVED IV and pink stripped APPROVED K ) some other consul wont tell u if ur approved like from my other friends consul who interviewed them, jst make sure u see if she/he will grab the approved K sticker or if u miss that out make sure to look at it on the releasing window, it will be placed on top of ur folder.

Hi rusty ash! I would have been done with my medical if it wasnt for my abnormal menstruation.. nway, what time did you go for your medical on the first day?

wow its been awhile since i post this thread. Iam happy to tell everybody that i passed my medical last July 12-13, 2006. I start taking my medication last May 7, 2006 until now and the spot on my lungs is gone. So when i had my xray at SLEC its normal.... HAPPY!

By the way do i need to get police clearance from where i lived here in philippines from 16 yrs old ? Is this only required if u lived in other country since 16 yrs old? I never been to other country but i lived 3 provinces here in PH since 16. Looking forward for ur guidance. Ty

thanks for ur encouragement. Iam just worried coz this might affect our K1 process, most of all my health. I was so really depressed when the doctor told me. I never had a bad cough that last more than a week, i only had cough when i gt some cold. I dont never vomit blood, i dont loose apetite, im not sweating my nite time. No body in my family had an active TB.Im afraid getting the result next week. I need encouragement and prayers. Thanks everybody.
