Did you finally have your Biometrics done day ahead of the interview. That is what I plan to do. I have already taken my appointment for June 16th and my Interview is scheduled for May 17th. I hope there wont be any problem with that. Would like to know your experience. Thanks!

Correct. That was long back when i scheduled her biometrics for 5th may, a day before her interview and thats perfectly normal to do.

But i came to know that biometrics can also be done in Hyderabad, which she is resident of, so i changed it to 23rd april. i wanted her to get done with it.

I am little confused with one of your post and your timeline. You stated that you have May 5th appointment for biometrics in one of your post in this thread and your timeline is saying you had biometrics on April 23rd. So..... which one is correct? My only concern is that if it is fine to have biometrics one day ahead of interview, if you have any idea about New Delhi consulate?

They do not send anything by mail anymore. IL will be by email.

you can call....i just called an ask the NVC agent they told me 7 to 10 days they will mail it out and it should be there in 2 weeks ....i asked if they can give me tracking number when they mail it to the consulate they said NO....but someone said they do give tracking number (not sure)...........

You will have to pay one more fee $165 (i think thats the amount). It's need to be paid before the beneficiary leaves for US. It's for green card processing/production.

On the phone with them. On hold actually. They don't give you tracking number but from what I've heard, they can tell you when it was mailed out. Then you go to DHL and enter some details and get a bunch of results and sort through that to find your package. (I think it'll say the beneficiary's name in remarks or something)

I just tried the DHL tracking thing. This is what I got:

Thanks for the information! I am hoping that I could get the passports and certified birth certificates soon. You know it takes a while here in the Philippines to get them processed. If ever that I get a visa interview schedule before I have sent the NVC the requirements, what other options to I have?

Best thing you can do is to ask NVC via email or call and do whatever they say. I don't know what other options you have after get your interview date.

Hello! I would like to ask fellow forumers here about how to add a dependent to my case. I am an E3 applicant and I was already informed by the NVC that my case has been completed last March 5, 2014. I should just be waiting for an interview date. However, during the same date I got the case complete email, my first daughter had just been born. What should I do to add my daughter to my case? Thank you to anyone who can help me. BTW, as of today March 31, 2014, I still don't have an interview date.

I have gone through same thing but I belong to F2A visa category. My daughter born in November,2013. Since then my case was under processing, so I haven't informed NVC about this(I was too busy to inform them). I got case complete email in December. Then I sent them email to add her to the case, they replied through email and asked for her passport and birth certificate.

So request NVC to add your daughter to the case and send them required documents as early as you can. Hope it helps.

Even I thought of this when I got my email but then I asked around and some nice people on this forum told me that it was 14

So I guess this weeks tension is just getting me all emotional and super stressed.

Not sure Gurjyot. I had same problem but I got case complete email on 3-18 nd NVC told me cc date is 3-11

Everyone gets case complete email after one week of case completion. My worry is which date they consider for scheduling and in my case I got 3 case complete emails ( 2 emails, 1 checklist) in 8 days. So NVC seems strange place to me...

I called NVC on 19th of March and they told me my case was completed on the 14th. And then I got a CC email on 21st the same as you.

So I would like to consider it as my CC on the 14th.

So there you go. Please don't get stressed out over the date

I got case complete email on 13 March, then on 18 march i got checklist just saying that your documents are placed in your file, then on 21 march I got another case complete email. I called NVC yesterday and asked for my case complete date. Operator said its 14 March. So I am confused if they consider March 14 (case complete date) or March 21 (last email stating case complete) for scheduling interview. Because I read somewhere here that case completers before 20th get ILs in same month. Do you know anything about this?
