Is it feasible to visit Canada after taking the oath, but without the naturalization certificate or US passport?
-
I asked, and they said it might be feasible.

I am going to be in a similar situation. When I went for my fingerprints, I asked what to do. They said to come back for my interview, even though I will be 500 miles away, otherwise it could delay the process for up to 6 months. They may also allow me to take the oath the same day since I have to travel along way.

As long as you were not a member of the English Defence League, the British National Party or any other fringe political movement, you ought to be fine. Just list this particular membership in plain terms, and briefly describe your involvement.
That you did not include this information in prior petitions is unlikely to raise red flags since Immigration Officers themselves always verify the information in your N-400 petition at the interview and make revisions, where they see fit, without penalty.
Good luck!
It was the Labour Party, a mainstream organization.

I was reading over the N-400, which I am about to file, and saw the question on political organizations. I was a member of major UK political party at one point. However, when I did my I-485, I misread the question, and did not list it as I only considered US organizations, and in all honesty I forgot about my membership.
It was a mainstream party, akin to Democrats.
I intend to put the detail into the N-400, but will it show up as a red flag?

I would like to avoid the full oath but rather use the words solemnly affirm, and drop the sentence that includes God.
I know this is allowed, but how do I go about arranging this? Do I check no on the form where it says do I fully agree with the oath, or do I merely say something at the ceremony?

Hi,
I am due to file for citizenship this April, and I am gathering all my info. However, I may be taking a new job this summer, and I wanted to know what will happen to my file if I apply in one state and move to another.
I want my immigration wrapped up over the summer and in time for 2014 election.
N400 moved out of state

Hi,
I moved from the Greenville district in SC (where I filed after living their for 2 years prior, and where I had my fingerprints) to Baltimore, MD.
I was put into line for Greenville on June 19. I filed for my address change 10 days after I moved, and received a new notice on July 7, saying I was put into line. I think the address change resulted in me having a new line date.
I called USCIS, and they said my file is with the NBC. I asked if it will be sent to Baltimore or Maryland, he said it should be Baltimore.
Has anyone had any experience in changing state midway through the process. If, after 90 days, I have not heard anything then I will approach my local state senator.
Before someone says you cant move during the process, that is not the case. USCIS instructions state you must be in the state you reside at the time of application for 90 days, which was Greenville. It allows for people to move.
