  1. You are K1, right?

We did not go a CS and submitted the DS 3025 along with these instructions: Green Card in hand with no RFE!

    3. What if I am a K nonimmigrant visa holder and already had a medical exam overseas?

If you were admitted as a:

    a. K-1 fiancé(e) or a K-2 child of a K-1 fiancé(e); or as a

    b. K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen or a K-4 child of a K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen; and

    c. You received a medical examination prior to admission, then:

    (1) You are not required to have another medical examination as long as your Form I-485 is filed within one year of your overseas medical examination, and the medical examination did not reveal a Class A medical condition, or if you did have a Class A medical condition, you received a waiver of inadmissibility and have complied with the terms and conditions on the waiver.

    (2) Even if a new medical examination is not required, you must still show proof that you complied with the vaccination requirements. If the vaccination record (DS 3025) was not properly completed and included as part of the original overseas medical examination report, you will have to have the vaccination report completed by a designated civil surgeon. In this case, you are required to submit the vaccination record and page 1 of Form I-693.

We are a k1 visa, my husband gave his ds 3025 to the people at the airport at his port of entry. So now what do you think?

the doctor i visited here in MD tried to charge me $250 and i argued that i had already paid for an exam in London,i showed him the conditions for the K! visa and that a second exam is not required,i said i would ring immigration and check if he was right,he replied that i cant ring them only e mail them and i said thats funny because i rang them the other week,so he told me to come back the next day and he would check.Next day i went back,he said he wouldnt need to do the exam and only charged me for a flu jab and the 2nd MMR that i had missed,he wasnt exactly friendly about it,neither did he admit being wrong, maybe they dont know,or maybe they try it on ? but i didnt pay

Ya everywhere I go says 250$ for the whole examination. I will try to push a little for just the vaccinations

There is a list on the USCIS website for civil surgeons.

    I kno

  2. Just google civil surgeon nearby your your address. we were charged $100 toit since we were already had te I-693 from abroad. Good Luck.

I have googled it, I've called about 25 places and all want to charge 250$ for the entire medical examination. So looking for anyone who might know of one in the LA area that will just transcribe the vaccinations... Since I've already googled it - that was the first thing I did buddy

  3. Mark a line through the typo and write the correct age, OR provide a new form. Those are the choices and not sure why you find the answers unhelpful. You asked and were answered.

Do you not realize Kathryn is a moderator and was actually moderating the thread? That is what mods do. You seem confused, and glad you joined VJ just to post this.

I thought the answers were very helpful. I was referring to the guy who insulted me for being worried, his posts were removed.

  4. Well, you have three choices, 1) send an updated one 2) have your fiancee update 3) don't send one at all.

With what you have already submitted I think they can understand a small typo.

No need to attack those who have attempted to provide you with some assistance.

I'm sorry, did I attack you? I know the choices I have, I am wondering about the outcomes. (inappropriate comment in response to removed post edited out - VJ Moderation Team)

  5. You are obviously stressing out more than you need to, it has been stated numerous times that it isn't a big deal, these forms can be typed or done with pen or both, have your fiance white it out and write the correct age with pen, save yourself the DHL costs.

Okay, so don't send it again. I just don't want it too look like a forgery- got it. So you don't think it will be strnge if it's all typed and then one part is whited out and written with pen..

  6. How many times are you going to ask the same question? What will you do if you don't simply submit a corrected 134?

Why not scan a corrected form?

The worst that can happen is they just don't issue the visa until they have the hard copy of the correction.

I'm going to ask the same question as many times as I need to to feel reassured (edited - VJ Moderation) Obviously I'm stressed, and don't want to do the wrong thing. I'm going to send the corrected one, but the interview is on the 10 and it's cutting it close so I wondered if anyone Had made the same mistake. And it turns out some people have.

  7. It wasn't the amount. It was his age!!!! I know I'm so stupid but my fingers are swollen and I'm pregnant and I typed in 28 and meant to put 29 so is that a serious problem??? Everything else on the entire petition says the right age 29 and his birthday and all that, but I'm stuck on this mistake! Is it serious.? Even if it's not I'm sending the corrected ones but say they don't get there in time by some freak twist of events; this is an explainable typo isn't it?

  8. Okay so I'm going to ship him the new affidavit with the right age on it on Monday and DHL said it would get there by Wednesday and the interview he needs to bring it to is on Thursday at 1:30. I'm so stressed out . But you think this is the best way to correct the problem? Send it again? Through DHL.
