I received a ck list for that as well which was sent 7/22 and has been reviewed and accepted. My 8/8 date is my IV docs. I called NVC and they havent been processed as of today.

My scan date for AOS and IV is 8/8 no email as of yet..

I am also 8/8 and i havnt received any emails. calling now just to ck for any updates.

Checklist question: On the line with NVC; got through at the 3rd dial. Today I am calling to find out more info on a checklist I received yesterday that says they have received my DS230 and will review it when I send them the civil documents for the applicant. I sent the IV packet on August 8th, so this checklist makes no sense to me...Has anyone received this kind of checklist?

I also received that letter this week, and i have already sent my IV pkt on 8/8 i also called and they said if I had already sent them i was ok just to give them time to review them. I was hoping they would of just reviewed all my docs at the same time but i guess that didnt happen..

I have a scanned date of 7/8 for my AOS pkt. i called NVC and they accepted it.

so i am just waiting for my IV pkt which was scanned on 8/8, i am just ready to get this over with.

just praying my honey is home before Christmas!!

Finally IV bill was available online yesterday and its been paid. I hope the bill is available online for everyone who got the bill email from NVC on Monday.

I was going to ask that, i received an email yesterday but I am still unable to pay.. so a couple days??

I called NVC yesterday since it was my 30 business days. They scanned my ds-261 on 6/5 and my AOS pkt on 6/6. so when i called yesterday the lady was real nice and said she would put in an order to have my case worked.. and sure enough by 4pm i received a check list (something minor) so i corrected and sent it off. But i also received something saying i needed to submit ds-261 i didnt want to do that since i already have and i know they have it, so i wait until today and call them back. first i speak to a man who says my ds-261 hasnt been worked yet and so my IV fee hasnt been generated yet. so i call back later and speak to a woman who tells me the same thing... i let her know that this is my 30 business days and she tells me that is just the general, it may take longer... Is there someone i can email about this?? I dont understand how one rep can do something and my case gets worked that day but the other reps cant do anything.... its bad enough to wait the 30 business day let alone having to wait longer..

Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

I called NVC today, this is the 30th business day since they have received my DS-261. The rep said she would put in an order for someone to work my case. Any idea how long that might take? Is anyone else on the 30+ days to get the IV fee?

I called the NVC yesterday asking about the delay of releasing my IV fees to be paid. I was told that I have to wait till they process my DS-261 first ... which may take 30 business days. I’m so sick of waiting!!!

Also, I have sent my AOS package and they received it on Friday as the mail tracking shows. At the NVC still not having any records that they have it….

I was told the same thing.. that i would have to wait for them to process my DS-261, rep said the entered in on 6/5 and entered my AOS on 6/6. I over nighted my AOS pkt on 6/2, they should have received it 6/3 by noon. I just think what if i didnt overnight it?

I have been looking at different peoples NVC Journey, and it shouldnt be too long... I am also getting very inpatient, but i think its because we are so close to being finished with this whole process.. and i just cant wait..

I really regret to say that calling the NVC is so depressing!!!

On May 21^st, I called the NVC and I got my case # and IIN. Funny I still can’t login to fill the DS-261 form. Called back again and I was told it could take a month for the numbers to be released into the system.

i was told that you can only pay the AOS & IV fee together if you have a lawyer. (which i dont) so i would have to wait about 30 days for them to process the DS-261 & the AOS pkt before i would be able to pay the IV fee.

I have been calling 3x a wk to see if i have any updates. For some reason they had my email wrong and i have never received anything from them.

I called NVC and they got my AOS pkt, now if they would process it...

staying positive and moving forward!!!

Use of the I-864, even if you qualified to use the EZ form will cause you no issues whatsoever.

The EZ form is a shorter form than I-864. The form instructions cover what needs to be included.

also can you help me what are the package contents should consists beside the fees payment coversheet?

I have a question..

i sent the I-864 form to NVC and not the I-864 ez, should i re-send the pkt with the correct form?? I called NVC and the rep wasnt very helpful, she said "well you can if you want, maybe they will take it".. so i am a little unsure. but glad i called because they had my email address wrong.

Is it possible to get NVC case number in less than a month? In two weeks for instance!!!

I hope it does!! They got your case in 5 days.. it took mine over 2 wks to get there..

Hi, my case was approved on 4/15 and I call like 4 days after that and they told me the same as you but dont worry, it takes like 10 days, so I will call this friday again and I will let you know so you can have an idea

thanks! i have been looking on the NVC spread sheet and seen it hasnt taken 4-6 wks for most cases. I will also continue to call.

my I-130 was approved on 4/16, and sent to NVC. NVC still doesnt have it.. how long does it take for them to get it??

the rep on the phone said 4-6 wks just to get it.. and i see that it takes about 30 days to get a case #..

Does that sound about right??

How do you know when they receive it? Do they send and email / letter??

It's depend what kind of RFE you have got.

But usually it takes them 2 to 3 weeks to review and than approve case.

It was for bonafide marriage.
