Don't bother with the I-129f and the K-3. As soon as the NVC gets the approved I-130, the I-129f is ignored.
Right but isn't getting the I-129f supposed to get him here faster if you apply while waiting for them to make a decision on the I-130? if the I-129f takes 5 months instead of the 8 month wait on the I-130 wouldn't it seem to help just a bit? or no?

Unfortunately, it's not a short process. Expect to wait between 6-18 months for your immigration visa.
Thats for sure, looking on the website its saying the average wait time is 8.1 months for Texas...oh joy -.-
So Im looking at applying for the I-129f at least its making an effort to get him home sooner.

you get a receipt giving you the number where you can follow your case on the USCIS website. Our case is still in review it hasn't moved.

Hello,
Im Ariel, My husband and I met online and he came out here back in September, he stayed out here for 3 months on his visitors visa. We got married in November by my Father who became and ordained Minster just to marry us. My entire family spent almost everyday with Russell. They all love and miss him greatly. I talk to him every day on the phone or skype before work. I sent in my I-130 on January and received the receipt a week later. I just wanted to give you all a bit of a run down of what my story was I was curious to see if anyone has ran into the Texas site taking their sweet time like how they're now? Thanks a million!

My husband and I did the same thing, but I have hope it won't hurt us. My family spent a great deal with my husband they all talk via skype/facebook. My father also became a ordained minister and married us. I am collecting proof as well for our interview (once we get a date that is). I wish you the best of luck!!!
