  1. I sent in my packet of adjustment of staus for my wife and my step child. I sent it off on May 24 and have not heard back from them on it. Her visa will expire on 7 july 2014. With her visa expiring on 7 july 2014 that also ends her military medical benifits because she is pregnate. Do they send something extending her visa or do we have to wait for them to contact her. I am also retired military so experation dates freek me out. Please any advice will help. Thank you in advance.

  2. Well just for all you experts in your Ivory tower there were 15 people attended and 4 received the Certificate. Humm smells fishy to me.

Hank yes I have read that but without clarification form the government you can expect to be asked about anything. Next thing they want is a car title of your car that you own. Where does it stop?

Sweat cakes you have no creditability from what you say.

I thought that this was a forum for experiences? So when I put my experience then I am discredited as being someone making something up? Humm I will not put my experience up and for the next person that goes there and gets the same treatment thanks all the nice people here on VJ.

    Peace.

  3. Hank these are the requirments that are listed on the website. If they want more things then they should write them down. Why would they need my Birth Certificate? What does that have to do with anything for her to leave this country? This is nothing more then a bribe.

    3. If married, original and photocopy of marriage contract on security paper from the National Statistics Office, or Local Civil Registry Offices; or original and photocopy of marriage contract duly authenticated by the Philippine Embassy/ Consulate (if married abroad)
    4. Other documents as may be required by the counselors; and
    5. Payment of P400.00 counseling fee.
  4. The bribe police at the CFO Manila are in full force today. I fiancee is there right now. I followed there site with all document that I needed. I even looked on other sites. Now they want my Birth Certificate and they say that an official court order from the USA of divorce is not acceptable for proof of being single. I know that this country is the corruptest country that I have ever been to or seen and I was in the US Navy for 20 years. Seen some corrupt countries.

Brother in law standing by to take the bribe to CFO.

  5. Thanks everyone for the advice. My congresswoman sent a inqury yesterday when I got in contact with her. I am in Manila. I was told that if I came to the Embassy they would not entertain me.
