Hello Everyone!
My wife and I got married in Korea in November 2013 and we have submitted our first round of paperwork 3 weeks ago in Seoul. It is also tax time in the USA, and this is the first time that I would have to file my taxes as a married person. I was reading and since my wife is not a US citizen we have to fill out a W-7 form for her. My question is should we do this (it could take 8-10 weeks to get her special IRS number), or should I mark myself has not married because my wife and I have only been married for 5 months outside of the USA and there is no paperwork in the USA that says we are married?
Has anyone else come across this situation? What did you do?
Thanks a lot!!!

I am just starting the application process and I am sure I am over thinking everything, but I don't want to make any mistakes.... Can someone help me with this question?
On the I-130 application form it asks for my "relatives address abroad" My wife lives with me, and I feel like I keep putting the same address down over and over again. In part B I wrote down my address I am currently living in. In part C I put my wife's address, which is the same as mine. Then in part C question 19, it asks for her address again.
Do I put the same thing one more time, or do I put one of family members addresses?
Could someone please let me know.
Thank you in advance,
Brunny

Hi mrss13, did you ever find out the answer to this? I am in the same boat with the same question. My interview is this week and can't find out how much money to bring. Any help would be great!
