Thank you! We did not use a lawyer, simply because we couldn't afford it. Along with the i601 form I sent a psychological evaluation of myself, the petitioner, and all the news articles I could find about the violence in the city my husband lives in.

So after 5 months we finally received the approval notice of my husband's i601, a couple days ago we received another letter instructing us to make another appointment for an interview in Cd. Juarez. My husband it's leaving this weekend for it, but I'm so nervous, is there a possibility his visa can be denied???

where will the i 601 receipt be mailed out to? my address in the states or my husbands address is mexico?

omg reading this makes me a little less anxious, i mailed out my husbands i 601 back in december 2013 and we still have not heard anything from them. it sucks that they are taking soo long. but hopefully the wait will pay off and our waiver gets approved.

i mailed out my husbands i 601 to the lockbox in Phoenix three months ago as of march 07, 2014 and i still have not received a receipt notice. i emailed the lockboxsupport@dhs.gov asking if they had received the package and still have not heard back from them. what do you recommend i do now?
