  1. hey guys!!

sent in an expedite request to the Dominican Rep Embassy last wednesday and they approved it this morning! Email said it is being shipped to the DR embassy! My scan date from my 2nd checklist was Oct 14 :wow: didn't think my expedite would get approved but I am so glad I tried….!…so glad to be done with NVC hell…now just waiting for the embassy to send us an interview date…good luck to everyone and thanks to everyone in this thread….your advice has helped a lot …God Bless

  2. Thanks for your advice i will do that but dont they say that you have to wait for your checklist to come and they send barcode cover sheet with checklist where we suppose to send and explained that this mistake you have to correct and send with this paperwork you got in email.

In my AOS taxretun income for recent year i m thats the mistake or not i put adjusted groos income for 1040A so its the mistake right ?

yes its suppose to be total income, not adjusted …and we put total for both and still got checklisted twice!!!…. so whatever…but for AOS line 6 asking for income …its TOTAL not ADJUSTED :)

  3. just checking in….

my last scan date was AUG 14 which turned out to be another checklist - our 2nd - asking for the same thing they were asking in the first one when we got checklisted in July - wrong AOS income on line 6 and missing pages …sigh….so once again …we sent THE SAME EXACT thing (really? do you think i would mess up a 2nd time NVC????) ….just got an email from NVC today saying they got our documents and our new scan date is OCT 14 …Lord Jesus…let the 60day wait begin…. :ranting::ranting::ranting::ranting:

  4. YOU CAN SEE EACH OTHER EVERDAY??? …girl, bye lol wow …i have to agree with Marco&Bettina….i haven't seen my husband since we got married in september of last year and you have the option of seeing your spouse everyday ?!?!?!?!?!? and you've only been waiting for 2months???…we're still at nvc waiting on our 7month …not to mention the 7months we had to wait at uscis prior…...think of others who haven't seen them in years and live 3000+ miles away should help to comfort you ….wow you are very lucky…i WISH my husband lived that close …seeing him everyday would be heaven compared to once a year ….chin up, you're fine, others are in way way way worse situations….wow

  5. Thanks for your wishes, and good luck to you too :)

I literally just got off the phone with a 9th NVC rep and she as well looked up the requirements for what I have to send them, she said that per DR requirements, NVC does NOT need police certificate here, and I told her your story and about your lawyer. Her reply was that maybe your lawyer was being very careful as a precaution, but she reassured me that I will NOT get checklisted for that reason. I asked her to please ask her supervisor, she was so nice and put me on hold for about 5 minutes, she then came back and said that yes in fact they do NOT need it here, but yes for the interview at DR. I'm still praying that all goes well for all of us here in this long journey.

gotcha …i wouldn't worry then since you received the same answer continuously …perhaps they were right about my lawyer just being extra careful …thanks and good luck again!! :)

  6. Oh I absolutely sent everything else including the passport copies, the police certificate I didn't because it's only needed at the interview. I spoke with probably 8 different NVC reps before sending my package and 100% of them told me that the police certificate it's not needed for NVC being that my case is from DR. But they said we will need it for the interview plus the passport pics.

thats so interesting ….our embassy is also dominican republic …we sent in our package WITHOUT the police certificate …a month later, our lawyer emailed saying NVC needed an original current Police certificate NOW …luckily i was already in DR visiting my husband when i saw the email from our lawyer and we went the next day and got one …when i returned to the states a week later, i gave it to my lawyer who then mailed it to NVC asap …i hope for your sake it is true but that was not the case for us …this happened in June of this year…..good luck wishing you and everyone here the best! :)

Thx to God case completed yesterday last scan date August 15 .. I pray for ppl who waiting on there cc soon ameen

congrats! i am an aug 14 waiting on mine !!!

  7. Checking in for my 6th NVC thread :(

We've been stuck at the NVC since May and we are now waiting for our AOS checklist to be reviewed. New AOS scan date is September 23. We would have been CC if not for the error of our incompetent attorney that used adjusted gross income and not total income on the AOS. Everything else (IV package, 260, etc) was accepted. Small error, huge price to pay.

Word to the wise for everyone. Ensure your documents are correct. Don't trust your attorney. It is a two month penalty for any mistakes.

dominican rep is the embassy we will be going to for the interview …also i agree ..we had a lawyer who made a silly mistake and costed us another 60day wait …our scan date is AUG 14 so we should be getting a CC anytime soon …good luck mdzcpa!!
