Hi VJ members, on the IV application my husband requested that they NVC send his info to the Social Security Admin to issue social security card. Does anyone know normally how long you have to wait for the card to arrive? Or should we just go to the nearest Social Security Admin office and get sign up for a new card?

Just called the NVC and apparently they're closed

Hey guys so i called the nvc this morning and spoke with an agent she informed me that they started scheduling march interviews for the Jamaican embassy but she cant tell me whether or not I'll get an Interview date. she tired to tell the nvc doesnt schedule the interviews the embassy does. LIES my husband and I have been in contact with the Jamaican embassy and they told us they give the nvc the dates and they scheduled the interview. I really hate all this running around from the nvc.

I tried to file separately on TurboTax but in order to move forward it is requiring his SSN. I'm searching the ITIN now if anyone has any info that can help with this process please HELP.

Hello VJ members I wanted to know if anyone has filed their taxes. I need some guidance as to how i'm suppose to file. My husband and i are awaiting our interview date to be schedule by the NVC. I want to go ahead and file my taxes for 2014 but im unsure how im suppose include my husband seeing that he has no SSN issued as yet. Any advice?

Just got off the with the nvc i was told by the representative that they have not started scheduling interview for the embassy in Jamaica for March this is so frustrating. She stated that they will probably start scheduling next. Help

Just logged in Ceac affidavit payment shows N/A..... calling to verify before i scream

today is 53 days since my last scan date. Waiting is stressing me out, called NVC today operator stated that i should call back on this friday hopefully case should be completed. Has anyone that had their last scan date in november got a CC?

Im having the same problem. I'll call get connected and after 3-5 minutes the call just drops IDK what's going on.

After your payment clears which normally takes about 2-3 business days, it wil be available to be filled out. I'm ok this same step.
