I did not mean to upset anyone here when I posted that we were approved. Not that you care, I just thought i'd let you guys know and maybe a cheer up that they are now working on June filers. Some may find it insensitive but I had no intention of such whatsoever. I never thought it would get negative reactions from some of you here.

I think you are going to need to write a letter to the USCIS and explain what happened with the previous relationship. Also, the previous petition has expired... The USCIS just wants either divorce paperwork or, in your case, an explanation. Others may not share my thoughts...

Hey everyone.

Last week I got an RFE requesting a termination of marriage document which got me confused because no marriage has ever took place.

Here's what happened -- In 2005,I filed a i-129F for my former fiancée. It was approved and was sent to the US Embassy to her country. Unfortunately, she got pregnant with another man's child. She ended the relationship because she said is was too embarrased of she has done. Long story short, I moved on. Never heard from her since. And never took any action for the petition I filed for her thinking it would expire in time.

9 years after, on June 2014 I filed a i-129F for my present fiancée without any worries that my previous petition with the former fiancée would actually be of any problem.

My question is: Do I need to write a letter of withdrawal of the 9 year old petition to the US Embassy of the former fiancée's country? Or just send the USCIS proof that no marriage took place between me and former fiancée?

Hope someone can help me with this.

I think they are. From the facebook grpups that I am a member, i see a bunch of approvals from june, july and even august filers. Which unfortunately, we are not one of those approved petitions.

Hey guys! So on Sept 18 we got an RFE. We have not receive anything from the USCIS as of now but hopefully we will know what would be the RFE soon.

We got our NOA2 today tru email & text. Waiting for the NOA2 hardcopy. God bless everyone.

Hope You'll get your Noa2 soon. Mine I just got my Noa2 last August 1 (U.S. date) 43 days from Noa1. YOurs is already coming! Just believe and have faith!

On what I have read, you can call the NVC in 2 weeks to get your manila case number (MCN), pay the Visa fee, get medical done and set an appointment for interview.. good luck!

Well I was really surprised because they are taking 5 months so I was not expecting 45 days but im not complaining. Lol...as for ARN I never received one at all but uscis told me dont worry some do some dont..Good luck and pray!!!

It's normal and that number is assigned to every I-129F petition that's filed.

No ARN changed update on my case status since NOA1, should I worry?

ATTENTION ALL MAY FILLERS TO TSC...I JUST GOT AN APPROVED! !!!! I filled my i129f and got my noa1 may 20th and when I checked my status it said account not found so I called and was told to wait 45 days and call back if still not noticed. The lady at USCIS told me that it will be 5 months before I see anything. Today I just decided to check and it said approved july 3 and a letter has been mailed to me with further instructions. So there may be hope they are speeding things up!!!!!

We are close to a month since we got our NOA1 under TSC and no ARN change. Makes me worried because I have read everyone got their ARN changed after NOA1. I hope to hear good news sooonnnn...

Yesss we got our NOA1 in the mail today!! took them 10 days after the email! BUT WE HAVE IT! Let the wait begin!
