  1. Hi, the beneficiary received the 221g document with them requesting more evidence for domicile back in March. The issue now is that they held the beneficiary's passport as the process will be quick.

The problem is that we will be going to the USA to resolve the domicile requirement. The beneficiary and I will be there for the Weekend.

Will the US border allow the beneficiary entry with an expired version of the Canadian passport plus the letters from the NVC?

The beneficiary's valid Canadian passport is with the NVC in Montreal and doesn't expire until 2023.

    I'm the petitioner (American Citizen)

    Thanks

  3. Hi everyone,

I'm a 21 year old American born citizen living in Canada as a permanent resident. I filed the i-130 forms for my parents and siblings (under 21) who are all Canadian citizens in September 2013. This week USCIS updated the status of the petitions.

"The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you."

Do I have to wait much longer for approvals and Visas? Am I first preference? Thanks.
