What is the process for divorcing my current husband. he still lives in Egypt and Im in the states. we married legally in Egypt and he did send me the contract. I have not made the marriage legal in the states. I would like to know how to go about divorcing him as we have both agreed to not continue the marriage. He continues to make excuses for why he cant file the paperwork there and has also asked me to send him money for a lawyer (not gonna happen) so I want to take it into my own hands. can someone please guide me on where to start. what paperwork to fill out. thank you!
