I don't think it's that complicated. My husband worked in vietnam for the last 3 year and we are back in the state since August 2013. I filed my Aos on 24th Feb 2014 ( which is including his i864) Have my greencard approved yesterday.

We just pay $300 for a tax office and they back filed tax return 2011 to 2013 showing his foreign earned income ( only thing we give them is income statement from the company in vietnam). And we send his current employment verification with his current salary with i864 too. Hope it helps

Had my interview this morning at Yakima, Wa office. The appointment is at 8:15 and the officer called me in at 8:25. My hubby and I both so shocked coz the interview lasted about 5 minutes. Except for checking both Id, confirming my name and birthday, some of the must asked question (Yes - no Question in i485) he only asked how long you two know each other. That's it!!!! I even ask him "Are u sure you don't wanna look at more evidence and pictures)?" He smiled and didn't took a glance at what I have and said that" your case is very good and I will go ahead and approve. ...blah...blah". 20 mins after I left the building my case status changed to card production. My status of I485 changed to RFE this morning. Got so panic....

It depends on the place where you're going to have your biometrics, i live in san jose ca, they said that it's very strict here so ill just follow my appointment.. And having the biometrics earlier will not make the process faster.

Thanks for the advice! So it just gonna follow the appt, I live in Washington and I can't have my driving license until having my I765 approved, don't want husband have to waste time driving me there.

I'm wondering should I try to get it done earlier by walkin but it's 1 and a half hour drive from where I live so I don't really want to risk being refused...

Same thing with me, I was checking my cellphone and my mail constantly and never got anything until the hard copy arrived couple of days a go.

I never get notice by mail or text, just hard copy today even i did fill the request for it. So for those who are still waiting, it will come soon, don't worry! Cheers!

So I get the NOA1 in mail for I130, I485 and I765 today, notice date is 26th Feb 2014. Such a relief, I have been so stresses that it took so long. Checked the status online, it says initial review for I130 and i765, acceptance for I485. At least it gets moving.

Hi everyone, I sent my package on the 19th Feb, got to Chicago Lock box on Friday the 21st but I still haven't received any notice from USCIS yet... I'm so nervous.

By the way, I'm adjust from B2 visa.
