May be its known as Impediment Certificate in Caribbean Countries and mandatory there. Whereas, filipinos says this CENOMAR in their country but its not mandatory for Indian beneficiaries.

By the way, have you converted back to F2B or still processing under F1?? I have seen that applicants with Nov 08 date gt welcome letters recently under F1.

If by that u mean the approval letter from DHS that Puru mentioned, I did not need it as I am still an LPR. I did not naturalize and wanted to remain an LPR till my son got here. I knew about the category change and I did not want to get into those hassles.

Thanks Hamida!!! And don't worry, your daughter will have her interview most certainly within the next 2 bulletins. It will not go beyond that. As I see it, the immigration authorities are moving the cases very quick. Maybe the guv wants to implement reforms soon.

Finally its good news friends!! Just saw online, my son's visa status shows "ISSUED". I had been tracking it since daybreak in India and at about 8.30 am India time, there was a change in the date from 27 July to 31 July and thats when they were updating his file I guess. At 12.45 pm the "Administrative Processing" changed to "Issued".

My PD is 1 Aug 2007. Does this mean that there will be a forward movement next month? Will I receive an interview letter this month in your opinion?

Hi!

Yes, you need to start calling them adocument - 14 days after your NOA2 for the case number. It will take approx. 1-2 weeks for them to process.

I kept checking CEAC status and at some point it changed from at NVC to in TRANSIT. That's how I knew that it's on its way to the consulate in Frankfurt. No status updates will happen at USCIS anymore.

To speed up the process, make sure you have all the documents on the checklist ready!

I have told my father to leave blank IV's supporting documents checklist and I did the same by leaving AOS's financial documents checklist blank while sending the cover sheet to NVC.

I am glad that ur son's case is in progress. I think NVC will finishwith ur papers very soon, usually they say 60 days but I think that's a standard language or reply for every case including F4 where spouse and derivative beneficiaries are come along with the main applicant.

But, in F1 and F2B there won't be many papers to file. I hope your son will receive the interview letter very soon

Yes I filled out the DS260 myself what part of the form is that on I can check for you.

It was at the back but he find out. what I want to know now is how should he mark the document sheet because the financial part is for his petitioner n the supporting part is his, so he want to send the supporting documents to nvc for himself but don't know if he should mark the financial part too even if he don't have it. what should he do?

One of my friends is having PD September 2002. He received COA in September 2014 and when his AOS fees $ 88 got invoiced, his name and his brother's name were removed from the CEAC website just bcoz they were above 21. Then they started completing his case, his petitioner sent the AOS package and my friend sent the civil package for his parents.... civil docs of my friend and his brother were not sent just bcoz their names were not present on ceac... but they sent a cspa letter showing the cspa calculation of their cspa age, according to which they were eligible under cspa... Now, 2 days ago he received a checklist for his aos package bcoz of some minor mistakes in the i864 and i864a forms........ AND in the email, NVC asked to pay 325$ fees of my friend and his brother and asked to complete their DS-260 form.... my friend was surprised to see this.....he immediately checked the ceac website, AND found that his name and his brother's name were added on ceac now.......and "pay now" option was available....they immediately paid their 325$ fees...... and now the fees status is "in process", which will be "paid" after 3-4 business days and then i guess their DS-260 form will be available........

Now, the point is that we have seen many cspa cases, that their names are removed after coa and aos fees invoice just bcoz they are above 21........and then the cspa case is evaluated during parents' interview.........but this is a unique case........and i am surprised that this miracle happend...............i dont know how......

But, my friend told me that his name and his brother's name were written in i864 and i864a forms while sending AOS package.........

Now, i think may be bcoz of this thing, their names are added on ceac and their fees option is made available...........

My another friend whose pd is also September 2002, his name was not mentioned in i864 and i864a forms and now his case is complete but his name is not yet added on ceac.........so his cspa case will be evaluated during his parents' interview.......................

Now, is this the way through which we can add cspa names on ceac after the aos package by adding their names on i864 and i864a forms ????

Or is this a mistake that NVC added my friend's name and his brother's name on ceac by mistake ??????????? I know it cant be a mistake but i cant believe that their names got added back on ceac website...........

Please share your views on this....and if anyone has this kind of experience then please share....it would be very helpful to cspa cases....there are many cspa cases in this forum.........

Also, there are many cases in this forum whose pd is july, august, september 2002, and if they are having children who are above 21, what is their status right now ?? Please share..

My son has finished filling out DS-260 online and now I have to just wait it out till I receive an email from NVC letting me know that the papers are in order (fingers crossed) and the interview has been scheduled. The wait is horribly unbearable towards the end.

You only need to bring a copy of the DS260 confirmation page. Not the entire DS260 printout.

I have not paid the IV fees and it was not invoiced. I did pay an amount when I sent in the application for my son way back in 2008. Maybe that's why I was not asked to pay.

Happy to answer that for you... I had my son email me his birth certificate and biographic data page of his passport earlier. We also scheduled the police verification as soon as I knew his PD would be current in the next bulletin ( I think it has a 6-months validity) and that happened soon after we paid the fees. He received the certificate immediately which he emailed to me. Since I have to only submit copies of all these documents, that was easy with the info on my PC. Even the 2 photos (2"x2") were put up and I saved it in a flash drive and had them printed here. As soon as that was done I put all the documents together and sent via Fedex. They received it today, I tracked it. Now I just hope all my efforts are not wasted with the "DHS Shutdown". Hate Boehner & co for that...

Do not fill out the DS-261 unless you receive the email. They have just streamlined their processes, but nothing moves unless the PD is about to become current. If the applicant's PD is current in the next bulletin, then NVC sends out emails between the 28th to 6th of the previous month.
