OMG 60 days for just that? Goodness! Sooooo frustrating!

We received a checklist last week (Friday) regarding our Affidavit of Support. It was the AOS of our joint sponsor and they wanted us to have the figures checked. We mailed the updated Affidavit of Support yesterday. Now how long do we have to wait for our case complete after this?

We were converted to CR1 and is now waiting for an update after receiving a checklist regarding our Affidavit of Support. =)

That's why I constantly check and read what's on travel.state.gov as well as forums...the best that we did was call NVC to verify and they confirmed that ONE package is the new policy. =) I would suggest calling NVC to check if it's okay to send your IV packet ahead even before it's invoiced. Better sure than sorry.

Hi! We actually did this. We submitted both our Affidavit of Support and IV packets. It took them under 30 days to invoice us with the IV fee which we're really thankful. I think it really helped that we did mail them those two packets together. Good luck to all of us! =)

Hi! After a long wait...our case did move...I just submitted the DS 260 after paying the IV fee. We have also submitted the AOS and IV packet together last month. When do you think will my interview date be? Thanks in advance and good luck to all of us! =)

Thank you! We're still waiting. We did receive an email about the I129f being reaffirmed and sent to the NVC.

Actually. I just read this from travel.state.gov - If the NVC receives the approved I-129F petition before it receives the I-130 petition, the NVC will process the I-129F petition.

I just want to ask for those who know what's next once I129f gets approved and then I130 gets approved after.

Do we still go for the I129f or this is now automatically converted to CR1?

We were very happy that I129f got approved first but then I130 got approved after a week too so now we're a bit confused.

We're gathering all evidence of a bonafide marriage so as hopefully we get approved.

oh wow that's good to know congratulations and goodluck...it worried me when I read that it's a red flag when after meeting...couples get married.

My husband and I started chatting last May 2013 and eventually got into a relationship in July. He went to the Philippines and met me in October and we got married November. I've read it is a red flag for the visa filing. I just want to know if there are any couple/s here who had the same issue and got their visa approved. It would be nice to hear successful stories.

Well, my husband and I would stick to the original plan of filing the K3. We will take the chance and whatever happens whether it be converted to CR1....that is fine.

haha yes I haven't seen anyone in here recommending K3 to be successful! LOL @ customer service line not known to be useful.
