  1. Hi so I received a rfe after submitting documents for adjustment of status for my fiance. It stated that my joint sponor didn't make the required guideline. Im confused because he makes over that amount. I myself make 20k and i send the evidence to them. Also they are asking for things he cannot supply because he is retired like w2, pay stud, employee letter.I did send his last 3 years tax transcripts.I also sent an attachment saying he is retired with pension and social security. Im not sure what to do

  2. My fiance had his interview on October 2nd and was given a 221g. It stated to send in mail to them a cosponsor, form I134 and supporting documents and his passport. We have sent that. The cosponsor is my dad he meets all required. We check the visa status web site all the time to see of any updates. This morning his date was updated but nothing changed as far as his status. Is this normal? Are they just processing or looking at case or what??

  3. So my fiancee had his k1 visa interview and it went pretty well he thought but after they gave him an orange paper that said 221g and that we needed to provide a cosponsor with I134 w2 and 1040 and to mail it all with orange paper and his passport and that if all is good they will send his visa in 1-2 weeks. I have a cosponsor who is my dad a us citizen but he is retried?? So no w2 form. Is this ok? He meets income guideline. I do have the 1040 transcript and transcript showing his annual pension and social security benefits. I also have the same from him for previous years should I include just in case or only send what they ask which was 2013?? Any advice please

  4. Thanks everyone really appreciate it :) Ashleyphilly we did receive an email from the embassy. It had all the information about making the appointment and also about the medical and documents that need to be prepared. Is it possible you missed the email? Thinks its best you contact the embassy find out whats going on.That notification is important.Dunno if everyone is emailed or if a paper notification is sent..

  5. Im filling out the i-134. My fiance will have his interview in October. Im the US sponsor i don't have a cosponsor available. On the form line 8 it ask to list dependents and if there are wholly or partially dependant.Do i list what i have as dependents on my taxes? I have two kids from a previous marriage.I have some rights and visitation but they do not live with me nor do i pay child support. .do i have to list?Is this considered household size?

  6. Ok so ive calles USCIS and NVC also emailed the embassy can't really get answers. So hope you guys can help. Our case has been approved by USCIS and NVC its at embassy and waiting for us to schedule interview. I wanna sponor my fiance myself. I'm in process of getting second employment which will bring my income to requirement for i134 and i864. Will it be a problem that my last years w2 i only had employment for 4 months?? I was recently divorced and had been a stay at home mom. Started employment at end of August 2013. I can prove with bank statements and employer letter for both jobs. I do have 2013 w2 but like i said only four months of work. Any tips im really trying to sponor on my own as i have no one else. Thanks a bunch :)
