I received a June interview today. I think there is still hope.

IL received I am so excited I posted this in two threads

ANOTHER EFFFINGGGGGGGG CHECKLIST ASKING FOR A BIRTH CERTIFICATE !! ! ! I just talked to them no more than 2 hours ago and I was told they weren't going to review my file again until they got to the mail that is sitting there.. So I am hoping they are just idiots and the supervisor did actually look again at my file and saw that the mail is not opened yet.... ####### is going on here??? on hold again...God help the nasty operator who picks up the phone now..... I better not hear that the certified birth cert is not good enough.....at this point I have no idea what they want. There is nothing else .... DEEP BREATH TILL THESE FOOLS ANSWER THE PHONE

Just got my IL via email. Less than a week after I got a case complete confirm over the phone.

Monday and a new week. Let's hope we all get some movement this week on what we are waiting for.

Every time we call for status, NVC just tells us that we received your Checklist response on April 23, but haven't reviewed it yet.

I dunno whether this means the documents have been scanned or not. Btw, the courier delivered the package on April 21. Any idea on this?

Yes call today. I would wait until 8 PM EDT or so. You never know they may complete it today. I called at around 9 PM EDT last night and was told that it was completed that day.

We called today hoping for a case complete, but sadly,they still haven't reviewed our AOS checklist response yet :(

NVC received our checklist response on April 23, btw

My last docs were scanned on the 22nd. Got a case complete yesterday. I think you are going to be soon. Hang in there.

Yup. Not until your interview date is scheduled and your file has been shipped will the status change.

Then there is still hope

I was getting worried that the lack of status change meant the case was not complete yet. I have a good feeling but like I said up thred waiting until Friday to call LOL

Just a question about ceac site. How long after case complete for the status to change from "At NVC" to "In Transit" ? Will it stay in "At NVC" until the case is actually shipped to the embassy?

That means yours is coming! Mine was scanned on the 22 too..case completed yesterday. Give them a call!

I promised myself to wait until Friday LOL. I am going to do it after work on Friday to give them two more days to complete it. It is getting more difficult to wait but I am trying to be calm

I never received an email with my case number and IIN#. I only received one letting me know to pay the fees and one for the checklist...

Hmm interesting. I know I called a week before and they said I did not have a case number yet. A week to the day I got an email with a case number and an AOS fee bill. I got a second email 5 days after filling the DS 261, and also an email after my payments arrived. I mailed my payment in.

When the nvc will contact me

In about a month to a month and a half. You should get an e-mail with a case # and an INN number. You can call and get this over the phone as well but it is taking about 5-6 weeks.

I asked for an update, and Olivia says in a loud voice, as if I won something, "YOUR CASE COMPLETED THIS MORNING." lol! I DID win something!

Although she did say, most probably we are not looking at a June Interview. It will be maybe a July one. She is not sure! SIGH..

WELL at least I have a CASE COMPLETE!! WOO HOO! 1 year, 2 months and 7 days!

When did you send you AoS package and when was it scanned into the system?

When I get to a PC i will add that. Using a phone right now.

USPS delivered my AOS on 11 April and it was scanned on 15 April.

Just received the most generic checklist. At 1 am no less lol. Anyway mine just asked for civil docs, without the laundry list of which civil docs. I already sent them and know my AOS was accepted so hope there is light at the end of the tunnel

Here is to hopeing this is the last month I am many of us are hanging on a NVC thread. It has been exactly one month since I received my NVC case number and 1.5 weeks since than scanned my last packet of docs.

It has been two weeks and one day since they scanned my AOS. Not sure if that is a good sign or a bad sign

I was CSC as well. I have a NVC case # and paid all my fees, still not updated past approval

No worries, it about two weeks for NVC to receive my case and about 5 after that to get a case #

I have a quick question. Does the USCIS case status portal update when the case is sent to NVC or do you just have keep calling NVC to check?

Depends on you Service Centre. CSC does not, last update is approval. TSC and NSC will update the portal IIRC. I don't know about VSC.

Ok I asked her for the tax return transcript and she said she has it but it has her husbands income on there also. Is that going to be a problem with NVC?

Her income alone is more than enough above the poverty line so I don't think he has to fill any forms.

I assume she filled jointly then? I would not see that being a problem. Maybe a tax transcript and a W2 should clear up any issues or questions the NVC would have. I don't think he should have to fill any forms since she can alone act as a sponsor.
