  1. Well, technically I didn't reached the tier 2 on my first call coz the automated system asked me to setup a callback and I had to go to work I had to asked my husband to get the call for me and I wasn't present so the officer won't talk to him without me and second call I made yesterday was the same, had to setup a callback, I got the call from the officer and that's when she told me no decision had been made yet.

  2. I called USCIS today and spoke with 2nd level (Immigration Personnel); she told me that my case hasn't reached a decision yet even though it is over 6 months. And she also found out that the address on file is incorrect :( I am not sure why it was listed incorrect when I received my notices before for the 1 year extension and biometric but I am glad she fixed it.

Nothing has changed for my case; I am so sad.. :(

  3. Oh, so that's it. I know I am missing something. I just also re-read the letter I got yesterday. So the one we can use to check the status is the one from the ASC appointment letter.

    Thank you very much!

You have to wait until you get your biometrics appointment letter. There will be a different number on that paper, that you will use to check status.

The number on the NOA1 is not the number you use to check your status.

  4. Have anyone of you experienced this type of error about using USCIS status tool checker.

    "Validation Error(s)

You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:
    • My Case Status does not recognize the receipt number entered. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283."

I got my NOA1 yesterday that was dated 04/27, when I tried to check my status- that message above keeps showing even if I entered it correctly. Should I call NCSC or wait a little longer?
