Hello, how can you tell if your applications are touched? I'm applying for K-1 visa for my gf. I got NOA1 and waiting for NOA2.

I'm planning for my honey to take some classes in community college before applying for jobs. Does anyone know of the requirement and fees? Does she need to take TOEFL? The fees are what international student pay or residence pay for.

How can you tell if the immigration official touched my application as you indicated on your timeline? When I type my receipt number on USCIS site, it doesn't say if my appli. is touched. I guess anyone may have trouble on this. After entering the US, will he or she be working right away or be a student first? My idea is for my fiance to study after entering the US and then find a job. I guess since with her foreign academic degree, it is not easy to find a well-paid job. What is your input? What would your fiance do after entering the US?

If you guys know, can I use 401K as an evidence of asset for affidavit? My income is 38K per year. Will they reject my petition because of this? Thanks
