  1. Thanks for the info, Shiawase. On my fiancée's forum, a couple who was a TSC October 22 NOA1, just got their NOA2 today, so maybe there is some credence to what people are being told. Could be it's a sign that things are starting to move - let's hope!

I'm happy to report that I got the NOA2 approval text and email at 9pm tonight! I can't begin to tell you what a relief it is! Now let's hope my gut was right and things start to pick up at TSC! I'll also mention that I've been working with my Senators' offices and was told my petition did have to go through some additional screening and got cleared a few weeks ago. So if any of you get that bit of bad news, don't give up!

  2. Hi guys, fellow november filer and just wanted to leave an update for some of you. I already replied to TheFoxxy with what happened to me today, and figured those still waiting should know as well. We passed the 5 month mark, so I called and spoke with a tier II officer, who would not put in a request for me, saying they are unable to do so because I'm within their internal processing times, saying they are processing cases from October 22nd, which I saw that being posted in this thread more than a week ago maybe even two weeks ago with the same date. I was then transferred to a supervisor who as well would not assist with a request, saying they are processing October 22nd (yet again) and could not do so.

Not sure if anyone else has had that issue, but thought you all should know, in case any of you run into the same issue as me :) I hope those of us still waiting, get approved soon!

I had been running into the same issue, but I finally got through to a Tier I officer who escalated my call to a Tier II officer that was willing to file a service request for me. Chances are the service request response will say TSC is processing petitions from October 22nd (!!!) and mine is still within the normal processing time. It's a little unnerving that they haven't made semblance of progress over the past few weeks, but I'm hoping that perhaps they update their internal times only occasionally, meaning that we may be able to finally put in service requests once May rolls around and the times are updated.

I should get a reply to the service request that I was able to file sometime next week. I'll share whatever news I get with the group. My gut is telling me that once one of us gets an NOA2, the rest will follow quickly. But I think we're mired in a standstill for the time being...

  3. My requests through my Senators' offices have not yielded any results. Instead, I've gotten the standard "We will make a decision or request for further information within 30 days" over the past couple months. USCIS isn't readily submitting service requests either (via Tier I officer or on the web), since they are still processing applications from October 22 according to their internal schedule (last updated on April 3, or so I was told). I was finally able to get through to a Tier II officer who did submit a request for my case and said I should receive a response to my service request by the end of next week..Hopefully that will provide some insight as to what's going on. I hope someone in this thread will hear something soon to at least confirm TSC is processing I-129F's... Because this graphic is alarming!

  4. I decided to go ahead and call USCIS for any information on my NOA2. I have read their response on this thread before. They told me "TSC was currently working on applications submitted from October 22nd and they have a backlog". I swear I have read this EXACT response!! Also as an FYI for all of you waiting, I did not receive my NOA1 until 12/5/13 BUT they counted my case start date as the day I originally submitted my petition, 11/12/13. I think I will call again tomorrow :content: and the next day....and the next. If no NOA2 by 5/5/14 I will contact my congressman.

I got a similar response from USCIS today as well. I requested that I be put through to a Tier II officer since my application has gone past the 5-month mark ( Received Date of Nov. 7). The agent said that was unnecessary because my petition is still within standard processing time according to some internal USCIS estimate that those of us on the outside are not privy to. I was told they will not accept a service request for my case for another 16 days. And 16 days prior to November 7 is right around October 22, so at least they are being consistent in their answers.
