  1. I petitioned my husband through k1 visa and he came here in 2014. He filed the ROC last year May 2017 and still have not heard anything yet but he already did his biometrics, he’s just waiting for his 10 yr greencard. My question is, Can he apply for citizenship this year even though he has not reciece his 10 yr greencard?  From what I understand, if you are married to a US citizen you are eligible to apply after 3 yrs of the date of your conditional greencard. It will be 3 yrs this year. So is he eligible to apply while waiting for the 10yr gc?

  2. I am a US Citizen and petitioned my husband thru K1 Visa, I know he is not eligible to apply to any government assistance. We have a son who is a US Citizen and he is okay to apply for medicaid but their asking for my husband's info even though he's not applying for the insurance, they want it for total household income purposes. Is that gonna be a problem? Anyone had a same situation ? I don\t want to take a risk to apply a medicaid for my son then my husband will get in trouble. Please help what I need to do. Thanks

  3. Yes, Im in the process of it right now. Everything is cleared from our lender except we can't make our closing becuase my husband's extension letter is less than a year. The bank is telling me it has to be atleast a year of residency. I emailed the bank explaining that my husbamd is waiting for his gc in the mai, he had his fingerprinting done. So I have not heard from my lender yet regarding this matter. This is the only whats holding us. :(

  4. My husband and I are in the process of purchasing a house, Everything is cleared from the lender except for my husband's status. I am a US Citizen and he filed his removal of conditional in May this year and received his extension letter which expires 07/12/2018 and the bank wants a letter within a year of residency before our closing date or else they cannot give us our loan. They want us to file an extension to the uscis. Is that even possible? since he already got his extension letter and already did his finger printing done. The bank will not accept the extension letter he has right now since it is less than a year of residency. What should we do to provide the bank what their asking? If I call the uscis I don't think they will write a letter of extension with a different date. I'm soo stress out and I don't know what to do. His extension of at least a year is what holding us for our loan. Any suggestions? or anyone had a similar situation? Thanks in advance

List all children you have in any part of the world. This is for biographic purposes but also very important to create a clean immigration trail which can come back and hunt you should you try to petition for any child not a U.S. citizen in the future. Select "no" in the section that asks if child will be applying with you since none of your children will be removing conditions as well. Send in the copy of current birth certificate of the child with your spouse who petitioned for you, that carries weight to prove bona fide marriage. You'll be fine.

but I am the USC, my husband is the greencard holder. I have a daughter from previous marriage and We have a son with this marriage. so my question is: Do I still need to put my daughter's info as well? or just my son?
