Morganspice you need to go to another bank asap. A lot of people on here open bank accounts with any EAD or SSN, I for sure did not have anything when I opened a joint bank account. I had first went to bank of America and they told me I needed a ssn then the following day I went to Wells fargo and they opened it with no problem. Which bank did you go to?

I have to say that I come to the forums to find some hope and reassurance. I just am at the point right now that I want things my way, thats all. I just need to have more patience and prayer.

I know exactly how you feel. I stalked uscis website also for my EAD card until finally I got a RFE this past Saturday wanting proof of my legal name because I have been married before. The only good thing is that I had already gotten an interview date.

That's what I thought. I will definitely bring all my original documents to the interview.

I just received a rfe letter in the mail for my I-131 & I-765 asking for a sworn affidavit stating my legal name. I am assuming because I have been previously married and I did not send a copy of my divorce decree with those forms but I did send it with I-485. My question to you guys is do you think I should ignore this because I have my interview coming up this Thursday, which if I'm approved will my the EAD card redundant.

Is this strange? I already have an interview date, but I just checked online and saw thata RFE was sent out today for my EAD card. What could could I have missed out in my package?

My interview is in t-minus almost 7 days now eek! So excited but also so nervous.

Yes it change to testing and interview about a week after my biometrics.

Well thats strange because I filed the beginning of May and already have an interview date for July 31.

Got my interview schedule today in the mail for July 22nd. I'm a march filer. I guess Atlanta is picking up the pace!

The I-864 goes with the I-485 but as Jay-Kay said if you got a RFE is will hold up the whole application.

I think if they kept her original I-846 then just send the co-sponsor, but if they had also returned your wife's I-864 then I would send the original back along with the co-sponsor.
