  1. My now husband came and stayed with me April (2013) through September (2013) and we didn't have any issues. Of course each case is different and depends on what the officers and customs have to say about your visit. Your best bet would be to make sure you don't babble or try to give more information than what is needed. Just be polite, answer their questions honestly, and hope for the best. I know that this probably isn't the answer your looking for exactly, but no one can tell you 100% what you can do to make it though POE (point of entry) into the US. I haven't personally had any issues for me or my spouse going back and forth though. Hope this helps at least a little.

  2. My now husband and I have visited back and forth quite often, and as long as you don't act nervous, be polite, and answer the questions they ask truthfully... you will be just fine. The first time he came to see me, he said he was coming here to meet up with a friend he had met online and they let him on through without any issues or extra security. They usually don't pry at that point. Now after we went back and forth a few times, he was asked once why he was making so many trips back and forth after we were married. He just told them he missed his wife, and they again let him come through without further questions. I would have to agree that meeting someone in person is a lot different than being online. Especially going into this long and hard process. It will be stressful and sometimes bring you to your breaking point. However, if you are both truly in love you can do it. This site is amazing when it comes to support and information. Everyone has of course mentioned lots of pictures. This is important for documentation purposes, and it's also great to save memories as you two have developed a relationship together. I am so happy for you guys to have the chance of meeting in person. I wish you the best of luck! Cheers!
