I'm finally with my husband and I'm absolutely loving the USA, I arrived on Saturday morning and the POE was a breeze I had no problems whatsoever. Thanks to all who encouraged me and showed me love and support and I want to wish all of u out there still waiting to have faith.

I sent the email in the morning and I got a response around two in the afternoon with the DHL tracking number. So I tracked it and it says that it's available for pick up!!!! So I'm going on Monday morning to pick it up

How did you know when you could go ahead and pick it up? Did you get an email from the embassy or DHL?

How long after CEAC site shows issued do you actually able to get your visa in hand?

Omg! Their instructions said for us to bring the paper and they didn't even take it. Like this process hasn't been stressful enough! When I emailed the embassy the other day, they answered me within the hour. Maybe u can send an email 2 see what u need 2 do. Sorry u have 2 go thru this!

Did the embassy take a copy of ur DHL confirmation receipt on the day of ur interview? They didn't take Hubby's so he is going to give them a copy when he turns in the medical.

I had it with me but the OC didn't take it and as a result, I'm all confuse as to what I'm doing or suppose to be doing.

DHL Registration:

Go to https://usvisa-info.com/en-jm/selfservice/ss_country_welcome

to set up the DHL process and register immigrant's passport. You'll need the case #, passport number, TRN, and standard bio information. You'll create an account with this information. Once the account is set up you'll then have to go to "Immigrant Visa" and click on the link in the 2nd bullet point and continue on. Remember fee for DHL is now included in $265.00 embassy fee so you don't pay anything online. You'll have the option to choose between DHL's Kingston or Montego Bay pick-up points. Once you have completed this step you'll take a screenshot or copy the entire page and pasted it into a Word doc, scan and email it to kingstonIVappointment@state.gov with proper email format to communicate with embassy.

I had already registered with DHL so I guess now I'll have to email it to then embassy then?

I called DHL today and they said that a confirmation number has to be emailed to me be4 I can pick up my visa, I'm not understanding what is happening could someone explain? For I was under the impression that when the CEAC status changes to Issued that meant u could go ahead and pick it up?

Dweels I was waiting for you to respond to be honest I was a bit confused because she never said I was approved so I was wondering what that means even though she kept my passport and I knew I was approved the devil just as to appear to plant the seed of doubt. But now that u said it I feel a bit at easy. All the glory belongs to God but I just want to say thanks to u and every one on this site, u guys have no idea how much u have done for me, just the kind words u spoke or the support that u give I will never be able to put in to words how thankful I am to all of u. The CO she made me so nervous she didn't ask if I was register with DHL. I didn't even ask if I was approved. And the only thing she gave me was the pamphlet, I'm wondering when is it do u get the information to pay the 165 for the green card? Is it when you get ur visa or at the POE?

I'm so upset now bcuz I didn't as any questions.

I'm back home guys I just left the embassy. It's all a daze right now. I was only asked two questions. How I met my husband and what he does. She then gave me the pamphlet about domestic violence and said u can leave. She didn't say I was approved or anything. However they did keep my passport.
