  1. but your time line is showing 8 feb 2013 marriage date and entry date is 7 April 2014 ...its not 2 years

Yes ur right were married for less than 2 years

If u were married like more than 2years u were directly get the 10year card regardless that u applied Cr1at first.

    No

To be exact were married for about 1yr and 4months

What is your wedding date and what date did you enter the USA?

    Feb 8 2013

    Apr 7 2014

  2. I already received my green card but im wondering why it indicate that im a IR1 visa category and it my card is has a 10 years validity.

My entry here in the US is under CR1 category and on my knowledge I understand that my status is conditional residence which means that I suppose to received my green card with 2 yrs validity and 90 days before the expiry of my card I need to apply for removal of my conditional status

And when I met all tneir requirements thats the time they will give me a green card with 10yrs validity

Thats also what the immigration officer at the airport explain to me.

    Now im a bit worried

YEs im happy because I got my green card

But it conflicts my visa entry on my passport

    Is my case possible

    What should I do

I dont wanna have a problem in the future

  3. Hi everyone im going to travel as 1st time immigrant I am aware that ianhave to pay for the phil travel tax now may question is since ill be traveling with my son who is 6mos old and a holder of philippine and us passport do I have to pay a separate travel tax for him? Or he is exempted to pay for travel tax?

Pls enlightened me with regards to this matter.

Im going to present his 2 passport so he would be clear to immigration charges

Upon reading some forums here in VJ it was advisable to have 2 passport, it that case he dont need to secure exit clearance from Bureau of immigration. (Am I right?)

    Thanks in advance

  4. Hi again mommyleleng.i finished my medical yesterday i also got the cd and vaccination also yeterday so that means im done with medical right??

    Yes your done!

You just need to call st lukes before your interview date just to confirm if they already forwarded your medical result to embassy

  5. No I didn't see the result of my medical exam

The St Lukes will forward the applicant medical exam directly to us embassy

Even on my interview with the consul they didn't disclose the result of my medical exam

Btw my visa was approved so I assume2 that I was clear with my medical exam.

  6. Hi be reminded that if you willnot undergo with your medical exam the usembassy staff on the entry willnot allowed you to go inside to take your interview its a must that you finished first your medical. They will know if your done withyour medival exam by checking your passport. Yesterdayone of the applicant went there for her interview without finishing hermedical exam and the embassy staff instructed her to finished first her medical exam. Take note she was with her fiance/petitioner that time.and her interview scnedule will be reschedule by the st luke's. And sad to say she will wait again a month for interview schedule. That's what I heard. btw they are in front me tnats why I heard it clearly.

  7. Be early on your medical exam make sure you have documents needed especially your passport.

Eat breakfast, and dont forget to bring cash cause they dont acceot cards as payment.

On your interview day be early bring necessary documents needed and dont forget to bring some pictures. And dont bring any electronic device pls.

I already had my interview today I bring my cellphone with me assuming that I can left it somewhere inside the embassy but they didnt allow so I have no choice but to left it to some vendor/bystanders outside the embassy and I paid 200 pesos grrr.. im not the only one who did that many of us did. They will charge you 200 pesos per elctronic even usb are not allowed. And also candies are prohibited.

    Well goodluck!

  8. US Embassy Manila will not send you any package for the interview.

Use the interview letter/email for the medical exam: http://www.slec.ph/us-visa-applicants.shtml

So how would I know if my documents are already at US embassy?

And on the day of my interview what documents should I present?

My husband w2 ITR were on that package also the affidavit of support.and other civil documents.

I think I should present those documents on the day of my interview right?

Im a bit confuse on the next step I should do.

You know I dont what to go to us embassy with incomplete documents.

By the way thank you for your reply to my question
