WE HAVE WAITED FOR 10 MONTHS FOR OUR I-13O TO BE APPROVED AND NOW THIS IS WHAT WE GET FROM USCIS??...CAN ANYONE HELP US?

  2. I would like to ask for your opinion about this matter. Last March 19, 2013 my american husband and i got married and decided to apply for K-3 because we did not know about the existence of CR-1 then. So we filed the I-130 last April 13, 2013 then I-129f on May 29, 2013. We did recieve the NOA for both. Last January 22, 2014, we recieved an email from USCIS that our I-130 was approved and sent to NVC and that they will send us a letter too, probablly the I-797. I was very glad about this because I think that we will not go through K-3 route anymore However, we did not recieve any letter from USCIS after 3 weeks. Then they sent us an email telling us that it was undeliverable last February 11. My husband changed his address and notify the USCIS about it and they said that they will resend the letter to us again in my husband's new address. I was not happy about it because i prayed so much that we will go to CR-1 route rather than K-3

Moreover, our I-129f got also approved on February 10, 2013 and we recieved the I-797 for this one last week only. It's stated in the letter that I will wait for a call from the consulate here to have my interview scheduled.

    questions:

    1. Does anyone here have any idea if they have forwarded our papers to NVC even if we have not recieved the hard copy of NOA2

    2. Can I ask NVC to cancel our I-129f and wait for the I-130 noticed? thereby cancelling the interview as well?

    3. How can I changed our application from k-3 to CR-1 if it is approved

  3. hi, my husband applied for a k-3 visa..because lately i have found out that cr-1 could save us money i prayed that it will be converted so. Last January 22, 2013 USCIS emailed us that they have approved our I-130 and sent it to NVC. I was very happy because i know that if I-130 got approved before the I-129f k-3 will be converted to CR-!. However after 3 weeks of waiting for the notice of action..we did not received any letter from them and at the same time our I-129f got approved and we have received the notice of action for this one. My husband called USCIS and said that They will send it within 15 days. Can our k-3 application still be converted to CR-I if this was the case? Thank you
