I totally agree with Apple21, but make sure your wife go with the new born on the interview day because they might even tell her what to do about the new born baby, sometimes they might grant the new born a visa also if she passes her interview, its all about favor because it has happen to someone I heard about few years ago. They ask her to come back with the babies passport and the visa was issued the third . So be positive and let them know on the day of your interview that you have a new baby because they will also program it in your record and they will be able to see on your wife interview day.

Call them next which do belive that the case number is ready then u can start tracking it on ceac.com. once u discover that ur case is at Lagos consulate then u can go ahead and send an email to LagosIV@state.gov. your subject should be your case number LGSxxxxxx and the beneficiary full names in cap, the body of the message should be that ur case is now at Lagos consulate and u just want to know the next step to take period then u can proceed from there.
