I just went to china airlines today and booked tickets for my parents, they said just follow name on passport so mean I put last name, middle name first name.

That's how it works in Vietnam. Middle name will always go with first name with middle name being in front. It's totally normal, there's no need for you to do anything. During POE, they will put it like that on the system as well but you will have no problem entering the US.

That's make people confused.

Sorry now I have another question about ticket? How we put name into ticket we buy? We follow vietnam passport or visa?

To me it seems like they got her name in the right order. I wouldnt worry about it.

Visa they give is :

Surname : Nguyen

Given name : Thi Hoa

Ur visa also so same ? Given name is middle name first, then Name is last.

I have a question about medical exam. Do you pick the date for medical exam or they pick it for you? and can you get medical examination done on the same date you schedule for medical appointment?

Next Monday my parents will have vaccine and need return paper to CHO RAY then done everything. ( for vaccine they need call 1080 for make apointment )

Thank you PDNK!!! Yeah, my wait is almost over. I keep calling every Wednesday, but still no interview date so far. It seems you all got your interview date a week prior to your 60 days from CC, meaning the NVC is super slow and they literally mean 60 days you will be notified (referring to the CC letter). The last guy I talked to said they will stop scheduling for July on the 15th. And maybe start for August a week after that. So I am just waiting like everyone else has. I'm so happy you, tyler, contruable, and the others I see on the spreadsheet have an interview date set already. That means that it wont be like last year when so many people were waiting for like 3+ months!!

Ya, lucky so far everything is smooth. My parents just did medical yesterday.

Do u know how I can get medical for them after they come (we live in hawaii) I tried check but too expensive.

I told my wife that she should do medical examination 16 days before the Visa interview, but my wife wouldn't listen to me at all. Originally, I didn't plan to back Vietnam to accompany her for visa interview, but her whole family wanted me to accompany her, so I listened to them. My wife is extremely stubborn; she always want me to listen to her, but she never listen to me. Honestly, I don't think I will have a good time in Vietnam, but I will be really happy to see my daughter. Even if the interview doesn't goes well, I still can bring my daughter back to U.S. because she already got her passport & aboard certificate.

Anyways, I hope the same for you too. I hope your interview will goes smooth, and have a great time in Vietnam with your parents.

PDNK & BigCatCougar, NVC sent me an interview letter through email at 3:30 P.M. I was asleep at that time. Now, I'm gonna have to book a flight back to Vietnam in June. I wanna wait for interview with my wife & daughter in Vietnam.

How and when did the petitoner and the husband meet?

Address of the petitioner?

When was the last time they saw or came to the Philippines?

After the long and unending questions finally they congratulated them. All glory to God!

Congrats PDNK!!! That means contruable and Tyler should receive theirs soon or they already have. Again congrats!! I called and a man informed me that they are still scheduling for July until the 15th of this month. Then they will start around the last week of this month for August dates. I am keeping hope but we will see. I will call again on the 15th to see if an appointment was set. Good luck to you all and I hope your wives (and parents) are here soon. PDNK, do you know that... back in April, I called NVC. One of the NVC guys gave me faulty information. He told me that the interview has been scheduled for June 6 at 8:00 AM. So back in April, I literally waited a whole week, and there was no email or anything. Then, I decided to call NVC again; another NVC guy picked up the phone call, and he told me that there is no interview date assigned to my case. (This BS story was back in APril). That's why right now I am afraid that... the same BS will happen again.

So I thing we just wait then, hope we get soon.

May 25th I was called NVC and got interview day is July 29th for my parents but until now not yet receive email and letter for that.

Anyone have experience about ? Usually how long get email after nvc scheduled interview?

You should call!!! Your interview date is set. I know it for sure. Call right away. Ask them when your date is!! They told me they filled all the CC's up to April 18th. My CC is April 20th so I am the unluckiest. HAHA!! But it seems very strange there were not any dates for the beginning of july... if you look at the cc to interview spreadsheet, the last interview scheduled before yours was june 20. What happened to all the days inbetween? Are there that many CC out there? I'm so confused about the whole scheduling process. I don't know why we can't schedule it ourselves the moment our case is complete... the whole process is so inefficient. I called and they told me I have to wait another month. Mine is in August.

They still scheduled for interview, if they find out and have some day open in April, u will in too. Never know.

Case complete 18th April.

I think now they working for schedule interview in vietnam now. Try call if u want know early.

I seen some people from Vietnam they got interview by phone....

Hello guys, I'm new. Anyway I found out that the consulate in HCMC will be closed next week for 2 days so I am assuming they won't start scheduling for July until early June. I really don't understand why they have to schedule in a months advance. Logically, one would think they already assigned a date and the NVC is just holding out until the day they notify you. But hey, I'm not trying to start a conspiracy. My case was complete on 4/20 so I am hoping for late July or August. This process takes way too long for Vietnam. In the Phillipines the process is way more efficient. I see that other countries have their wives already here and their case completed after ours. I guess unless you pay coffee money, its a real slow process. Anyway I am assuming the interview letter comes around the end and beginning of the month, but who knows. Contruable and Tyler should get theirs soon. I'm just notifying everyone that the consulate is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday next week. Good luck everyone and keep praying. ^^

If case closed in the spring you are most likely looking at the fall for interviews. It sucks but maybe you will get luckier than what we experienced last year.

Called NVC yesterday and the lady said they are working on my file and they looked at the AOS documents. I guess we will see what happens next week
