Hi, my wife is petitioning her dad from the Philippines. He worked in the Northern Mariana Islands more than 20 years ago. It is a US territory. Do you still need to obtain a police clearance? We forgot to mention that he worked there on the application and his interview is coming up.

Also do we need to submit the CD that my wife received from st lukes during her medical?

Does everything in the forms need to be capitalized? only names? or it doesn't really matter?

We have experienced the same thing. You just have to check daily, a few times a day. At some point a bunch will open up, but you will see random ones appear. my fiance had hers initially for may 5th but was able to reschedule it for march 12th a week before.

Its been a week since the Interview and case is still in AP. My fiance got the number of a few k1 people who had their interview the same day and theirs was already issued. kinda UGH!

I sent mine on 12/31/13 and it was approved 1/31/14. one month exactly

unfortunately she didn't do the CFO prior the interview. She has to do it after. And we kinda are on a tight schedule lol

I know AP after an interview is a normal procedure. My fiance said that she was approved, all documents are complete and she would wait for the visa to arrive at home. Now typically with no issues, how long does the case stay in AP? Its in manila Philippines..

Who knew that our k1 visa will get approved so fast!!! we are so happy. I submitted the i129f on dec 31! My fiance had her interview today march 12 in manila! Two and a half months later approved!! wowww!

I got the same problem.anyway,letter from nvc doesnt really impact your petition as long ur name right on NOA2.its only notification and it sent by outsourcing not the nvc itself.good luck!

My name is correct on the NOA2. But doesnt it mean my name in the system is wrong at the embassy? It doesn't seem like having discrepancy in the names is a good thing. They can question that on interview and use that againts us.

i did call the embassy number as well and that was pointless

Get it corrected by the responsible federal agency/department.

i called the nvc and they are useless regarding the issue. obviously someone behind the computer made this mistake ugh

So i received the letter from NVC stating my petition was sent out to manila.( we have the visa paid for and interview date scheduled) and my last name on the form is wrong! what the hell?? its misspelled by one letter.

Mine was approved within 30 days at CSC

A bunch of dates became available for may! just booked one for may 6 =]

i paid the visa on tuesday and i just keep getting no open slots. once in a while there is something open like for the 24 or 26 but its too soon! The medical won't be done in time. Its very frustrating
