This gives me hope that we may not have to go the I-90 route. Would be great if they notice the error and just send us a new card. Curious - does their response say the PRC is valid for travel?

I just filed the service request; Supposed to get an answer by April 29. I'm seeing just now in the monthly filer threads how widespread the issue is. I do think they should send us new cards - going the I-90 route and waiting another year (!) because of a mistake we didn't make doesn't seem right. 
 
Do you guys think it's ok to use the card for travel? I have a trip coming up in a few months, but wouldn't want to use it if it causes issues coming back. 

We sent our package on Dec 4th also, and it was delivered on Dec 5th. Let the waiting game begin...
