My wife finally made it it the US with her cr1 visa. That was in April, We still have not received her green card. Does anyone know how long it takes to receive the green card? Also week just moved last week do we need to let the nvc know that we moved and where we can do that?

The immigrant visa fee is different then the AOS fee? And there is nothing for us to do until they have processed ds-261?

First off back in August we received our first email from the nvc prompting us to submit form ds-261 choice of address and agent. Did that. Then received a second email prompting us to pay the AOS fee and submit financial documents and form I-864ez. Did that. We have not been ask to submit form ds-260 Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration yet. And then this morning we received a third email telling us our documents are under review and do to a high volume of applications it will take 60 days to review our documents. My question is when do we fill out form ds-260? Do we wait until they instruct us? Do we do it now? Should we have done it already?

Any help is much appreciated.

Hello everyone,

I am a US citizen, and my wife lives in vietnam, we got legally married in april of 2013 in ho chi mihn city. We are currently still in the initial review process at NSC. As you april 14th is right around the corner as i am in the process of filing my taxes, so my question is do i need to claim my wife on my taxes or file as a married person... or will i wait untill she gets here before i worrie about that? and advise or foresight would be great.
