This is late but we got approved on July 17th after being transferred from Nebraska

We got transferred from Nebraska on July 8th too

On a separate note, i'm hoping there are more with similar experiences such as ours.

Update: We are currently waiting for the finances to kick in from the Army so that he can slot in a 2 weeks visit to Singapore.

Its so hard to plan a trip

a) Finances hasn't kicked in (Tickets from Fairbanks to Singapore or vice versa are really expensive)

b) It costs more for us because we need to book accommodation as i live with my parents

c) He has to go for out in the field (With only maybe 2 weeks tops notice in advance)

d) I earn a day of leave every month unlike some companies who award leave on a yearly basis (Am currently at 3.5)

Sigh.... Nebraska.... Please hurry for all our sakes. We miss our spouses

Brief story:

Husband and I met each other via online dating website in August 2013 and we got married in New York in December 2013. Really fast I know. We decided to expedite our wedding because

1. we really wanted to be with each other

2. he is an active duty military soldier

My worries are mainly:

1. would it cause us problems if we only met that ONE time for 2 weeks and got married?

My husband and I chose the most difficult part for the sake of our future. I live in Singapore and a ticket to Fairbanks is very very pricey. Him being in the military makes it harder for him to take leave to just drop and visit me as they have limited leave.

Therefore, we chose to patiently wait till the visa is approved and for him to come to Singapore for a short holiday and back to fairbanks with him.

Reading posts about being denied because VO do not believe people on if their marriage is bona-fide or not is freaking me out big time.

To clear things up:

1. We have filed in detailed and pending NOA2

2. We included chats from the dating website

3. We included Skype and Whatsapp chats

4. We included all our pictures together when I visited and spend Christmas with him and his family

5. I am officially on his army orders and listed as a spouse in the U.S Military

Am i freaking out too much? I'm just worried. I miss him so darn much and I can't do anything now
