I received a Notice of Potential Interview Waiver Case in the mail today. Yay or Nay?

I got approved finally! I got an email this morning saying that i got approved on June 11th.but it is still "my case was received"on their website! I submitted a service request on the website last night and they emailed me back this mo ring.didnt know they are working for the weekend.lol

I placed an Inquiry on Tuesday (June 9th, 76 days since NOA1) and my husband received an email today saying his EAD was approved on June 9th which is odd 'cause upon checking the website it still says "Case was received on March 20th...". Anyway, I've read that some people experienced the same thing. To those people who are waiting for approval, don't lose hope. You'll get yours soon! Happy Friday!

On June 1 I called USCIS an did on inquiry about my EAD. I got no email or text with any update. This morning I called again and was told to give it 30 days for the inquiry to be complete. There is no change on the USCIS website, still saying my case was received.

Only to go to my mailbox to find approval notice...... My EAD and AP was approve on June 7.....

Did you have to explain why you want to talk to tier2? I wonder if tier1 let me talk to tier2 without any reason . I called them (tier1) twice so far but they were not helpful at all. I might need to think about info pass soon.

Hey, when I called them last time I made up some excuse. As soon as I got a hold of them I told the Tier 1 rep, " I was talking to one of the Tier 2 reps earlier regarding my case and I was disconnected can you transfer me to them again please?"

I was actually surprised when I got the letter in the mail 6 days after they put in the service request. I didn't expect it because I didn't receive any email/text updates saying that it has already been approved. Then I decided to call them on that day and asked for a Tier 2 rep to confirm and ask for an update about the actual card- if when should I receive it.

Good morning March Filers.

I received an email this morning regarding my service request last monday. It states that "Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter."

Geez 60 days is such a long time.

I don't know what happened to our applications. I noticed that most of us who got our noa 1 from March 20 onwards are still waiting for approvals. It seems like they just stopped approving or what.

april filers are getting approved already and here we are still waiting for any update.

My EAD/AP was delivered today! Yaaayyy!!!

I just called. I was told that my day count was off and I'm not at 83 days but 76, so one day past the regular processing time. So basically I just put in a service request and we'll just hope for the best. My customer service agent seemed like he was new on the job or something. Seemed like he was just reading a script and wasn't too helpful. Sigh, I wish I was one of you guys celebrating your cards being processed and in your mailbox but I guess I just have to wait a little longer. :/

P.S. I wasn't asked for my Alien registration number so I'm glad I called anyway.

I called them on the 77th day (June 2) and they put in a service request for me. As I can see here on the approval notice that I got yesterday it seems that they process the approval on June 4th- two days after I called them.

Don't lose hope people! I think the website status online is not up to date, instead of checking the case online, look out for your mailman!

I will try to call tomorrow just to make sure it has been approved. How do you ask to speak to tier 2? Will I need some particular reason in order to speak with them?

When I called the Cust Service Number, I was routed first to a Tier 1 Rep, and this was my spiel. "I was talking to one of the Tier 2 Representatives earlier regarding my case and I was disconnected can you transfer me to them again please?" (I just made that up, so they would transfer me, Lol )

And when I was transferred to speak with a Tier 2 rep , there was a 25-minute-wait-time so I had to punch in my call back number and waited for a callback.

I'm also still waiting...today makes 82 days!!

I was actually going to call them today but we're out of town and I realized that I don't have my Alien Registration Number with me. Do they ask for that when you call? I know the date we filed for AOS, receipt number and all our other critical dates/questions (I think) but I don't have the A# ... can I still call? Thanks

I just called the Cust Service # again and I asked them to connect me to Tier 2.

The Tier 2 rep said it was showing on his end that my case has already been approved and they're still on the process of printing the card.

I don't know if you wanna try calling them and ask if there's any update on your case

You're right. I think USCIS website is not always updated and another thing is, I didn't receive any email/ text at all regarding my approval, it just showed up in the mail.

I just contacted them this morning for a service request. It's my 76th day from noa 1 and 80th day from date of receipt. She also told me wait for 30 days. Guess that's all they can say.

This is what I'm worrying about, thanks for the info. I tried to expedite my case 2 weeks ago, faxed the evidence and didn't hear anything back. Last friday I went to USCIS infopass office, they contacted the agent at the NBC office for me and let me know that my case has now been approved. I got very excited but worried earlier since there has been no update on my status, still "received the case".

I guess sometimes it can be delayed on website update, now I feel a bit relieved.

And you know what, I called the NBC Customer Service today just to check if it has been updated on their end and they said that my case is still pending. They don't even have the updated info that my case has already been approved. I think Tier 1 Cust Service has very limited access when it comes to checking our case.

By the way, congratulations on your approval. I have a feeling that your approval notice/ EAD card will just show up in your mailbox any time soon.

Hey guys, I was shocked that when I checked the mail today there's my I-765 Application for Employment Authorization Notice sitting there waiting for me. The notice date was June 4, 2015. I am so happy and grateful! Finally!!!!

But it's kinda weird because it doesn't show on the USCIS website. It has not been updated at all. Another thing, I didn't receive any emails/ text messages at all. I am wondering how will I know if they are already sending the actual card?

Same here. I am getting worried. It hits 80days today for me. But I'm trying to be calm and wait till it hits 90days

Which case number did you give them? I gave them my I-765 number. Maybe you told them your I-485 case number?

Not yet. I received my EAD on May 20th. I originally wanted to go and apply for a new SSC right on the following week, but after having done some research I decided to wait at least 2 weeks, to let the SAVE system update my immigration status. Some people encounter problems when going to the SSA office right away and are told to come back a couple weeks later. I didn't want to make 2 trips, so I decided to wait a bit. However, I will go to the SSA office next week.

You definitely know what to do in every step. I believe, you doing some research here and being positive all the time helps.
