how did your interview go?

it went on good and easy, i was just asked 3 questions and same to my wife too the interview was less than 5 mins

THEY ASKED ME I TOLD THEM I DONT HAVE IT

thank to everyone on here for the help. today we went for our interview in NY at the long island center. at the interview everything seem good and the interview was not more than 5mins, the immigration officer asked us about 3 questions each and and the yes/No question. she was nice and freindly and she also wrote pending in my passport but didn't take my EAD or my I-94 and she also didnt check my wife's ID. all she gave us is a paper about the ROC in 2 years.

An hour after the interview my i485 status changed to card/document production but this night i just checked it and it went back to Decision: On September 23, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Please has anyone had the same problem too and what should i expect latter on.

i went today all there care about was the bankstatment and check through our photo album

we dont have no car insurance or health insurance yet. phone bill are different too cuz she use another company and i use another one. we do have few latters to were sent to our address and some travel itineraries of our trip to Atlanta and hotel receipt too and movie tickets

Please i need help, our AOS interview is on the 23rd of this month in New York and we dont have a enough of documents to prove our marriage. we already submit affidavit from friends, bank statement to the account we both use, pictures and some trip we both had together. so we dont know what what take to the interview all we have right now is photo album, our IDs, we dont have nothing joint since i got my SSn late, and we live as a room mate and we dont have anything in the house in our name. please what can he add to our documents..

my friend on mine applied for AOS through Marriage. when he received his NOA. there is a mistake in his DOB on the I-130 receipt but other document are fine. pls what can he do.

i did do it.. but from what i saw they just check the name and the picture to make sure its you.. and you can also use state Id or DL if you have one.

If you come in with visitors visa... There is a probability that they will think your marriage is not real. Cos your intention on coming to the US is for business and pleasure, not to meet someone and marry. Even when the love is real btw you two, but coming in with a B1/B2 visa is always a red flag. My opinion

HE DIDNT ASK IF THEY WOULD THINK ITS REAL OR NOT...HE ASKED IF THEY SHOULD INCULD THE PICTURES OR NOT............

im also among the waiting game sent my AOS on the first of april

hope everyone is doing good out here. i also sent my AOS on April 1, but ever since my Biometrics i haven't hard anything from them its has been on Testing and Interview for about 3 weeks now..is there anything i could do or i should just call and double check ?

Hi everyone and takes for checking this out, My friend has a problem with if marriage certificate by give wrong information to the city clark on his wedding day. He got marriage in NY city and only his wedding day he was asked if he had been married before and he said No, but he was marriage before me came here and later divorce about 3 years ago but he thought that question was meant if he has ever been married here in the USA not abroad since he has hard time understanding english, i would like to know if this would bring any confusion, later if he writes in is form that he was married before ?

Please fellow VJ my friend is trying to apply for AOS through marriage but his wife doesn't work and she hasn't filled for Taxi for the past 3 years cuz she didn't have a steady job. so how would she go about the i-864 form does she has to show any prove of non filling or any document that she doesn't work. they do have a sponsor who is make enough money and will to sponsor them

i think you can have a bank account without SSn. as long has one of your have ssn all you need to do is to go to the bank with your marriage certificate any id you have,even your EAD and your spouse SSN, and prove of address. they don't have to ask your for more evidence to open an account that should do. we open our joint account on 13 January and i don't have any ssn. all i had was my passport and and our marriage license and my wife SSN and Drivers license. just know how to talk to them. SSN is not a requirement to open an account.at first the guy at the bank told me no we cant open account but i asked him what he mean we cant cuz its a joint account and we want to add only one SSN...i have 2 account in my name i didnt use any SSN to open it from BOA and chase. just know how to talk to them and if they tell you they cant tell them you want to talk to their manager and as long has you show them you know what you talking about they would help you out. if not go to another bank. yes they did received it today and i went to USPS to get my full refund.

I sent my AOS through USPS express on the 1st of april and it was schedule to deliver on the 2rd april at 10:30 PM but the tracking is not updating and i did call USPS they told me they don't really know where the package is and latter they called me back asking me for more information and still don't know where it is. i'm so pissed off right now i don't know what to do. pls has this happened to anyone out here before.

i did latter added it right when i was about to mail it yesterday thats when they gave it to him so i printed it out and added it to it, but i was planing to send it without the Job latter. so i sent just the job latter for the joint sponsor

did you add that to yours his job letter cuz ours is take forever for them to do that
