Long time reader first time poster.

EAC17269**** approved today with status saying “New Card is being Produced”. To say that I’m relieved is an understatement. Reading posts here for the past year has really helped to keep me going!

i submitted an inquiry on the USCIS website last week because I never received a notification by mail saying my case had been transferred to the local office. I know it wasn’t really a good reason but it seems to have gotten their attention. Yesterday my name was updated and the actions taken on my inquiry said that they had sent me a notice. Then today it said card being produced.

anyone know how long it takes for them to send cards at this point?

My receipt date was the end of June 2017.

On July 6, 2018, I received an update on the case tracker that "New Card is being produced." Just today, July 10, 2018 I just received they are mailing my new card.

  2. Hi everyone, I submitted my I-751 June of last year in Vermont. We sent our packet first week of June 2017. We got NOA1 June 30, 2017 and went for Biometrics appointment July 18, 2017. We never heard from them since then. My extension letter will expire on August 16, 2018 so I set an infopass appointment today, July 6, 2018 in Pittsburgh, PA. I told the guy that my one year extension is expiring next month. He checked my extension letter and passport and stamped it for another year. He is very nice. At 8:45 pm today, my status changed from case received in local office to new card is being produced. My husband and I are wondering if the infopass appointment triggered the change of status. We are very happy about the news. My case is 17263XXXXX. I want to share this so people who are still waiting will be inspired. I am pretty soon their approvals will come.

  3. Hi, I would like to ask if my husband could call NVC for the status of our petition prior to the 60 days waiting time for them to review our papers? The letter says we need to wait for at least 60 days time frame in reviewing our papers. My husband is wondering if it is possible to call them and ask for the interview date before they send us the letter?

Also, I am confused of the papers to bring to the interview. Do I need to show my huband's papers or only my papers?

I would also appreciate to know the exact checklist of the documents needed for the interview. Thank you.
