  1. hey everyone my bro i already did our interview an we were ask to send in addition doc ofter the doc were sent an recieve, my status change to "READY" ready for interview but well aready did on interview.... can someone tell me whats the cost of this?

my husband status also says ready after approval at Kingston embassy on July 28th when I contacted embassy officer stated case in AP from what I have read on here after approval some statuses changed to ready straight to issued or from ready to ap to issued. We been in ap almost 3 weeks now so still waiting. The best thing to do is email Kingston embassy to verify status because CEAC can be misleading sometimes.

    GOOD LUCK

  2. Thanks for your input, but I just didn't understand why they would tell him he approved and he can pick up his passport the following week now this. These people have taken us through hell and back. his interview in April the officer said everything was alright just wanted him to being clearance letter from court for having possession of a knife as a juvenile which he wasn't charged for. His police record is clean. He did that then the officer tells him to retake his drug test after he passed his medical. He gets to the clinic that make him retake the whole medical vaccinations and all due to embassy doesn't except partial medicals well that's what he was told so after that they tell him his visa application fee is expired so now he given an interview to repay visa application fee and be sworn in by an officer than was approved and told to pick up passport following week already registered with dhl from sending documents from before. Now back in AP after approved and on the CEAC WEBSITE the status reads READY smh this whole process is insane.

  3. Husband approved on July 28th 2015 then put in administrative processing still waiting. CEAC status states READY. Emailed Kingston embassy which only response is this case is in administrative processing and will be contacted soon as complete. Just when I though we was finish with this horrible ordeal. At his interview officer clearly stated approved and to pick up passport next week which was last week and make sure to travel before September 30th medical will expire on this date. The medical in Kingston is $330 US this is just a terrible experience did everything that they ask in a timely manner. Anyone know of this treatment after approval. :(

  4. Yes it also said same status when was ready for interview. very confusing. As I read some of the forums on here a lot of people that was approved also received the same status after approval and before status said issued.

  5. My husband had his interview July 28th at Kingston embassy and was approved. Status changed from AP the day of the interview to Ready been stuck there since then. Wonder how long it takes until he receives visa in his hand :clock:

  6. Hello I know your frustration. when I sent my I-130 it was march of 2013 I didn't get an approval for the petition until Janurary 2014 well over the waiting period. I believe you just have to be patient because if you don't this process rips families apart. :(

And I am a US Citizen that filed for a Jamaican national I truly believe it don't save you any time far as processing times either. I hope everything goes well.

  7. my husband had his interview on 04/23/2015 in Kingston Jamaica Embassy which everything went smooth until the officer stated that he had a charge 12 years ago for possession of a knife and weed even though his police record was clean. Officer still request his arrest records and clearance letter from the court. So on 4/29/2015 my husband submitted all information requested with passport through dhl as requested by officer at Kingston embassy. Now checking CEAC website visa status still say refusal.

Have anyone experience this before and how long do it normally take to hear back from them.

  8. hello so how did this turn out. my husband went to his interview 4/23/2015 interview went smooth until officer stated that my husband had a charge of a knife and weed found on him 12 years ago. So the officer requested that he send in arrest records and clearance letter from the court which was sent 4/29/2015 so now just a waiting game ceac website still states refusal. This is Kingston Jamaica embassy.

  9. Hello, my husband attended his interview which he showed his police record which he has no records his name is all clear. The officer looked in the computer and stated my husband was arrested in 2003. Which his name was cleared in court, so now she wants a clearance letter from the courts or his court papers as everyone know Jamaica is old fashion to everything. He is now having a hard time getting the court paper from 2003 from where he went to court because everything is on paper. Anyone from Jamaica have you ever ran into this problem and do you know how we can resolve this.

  10. Yes it is. Weed was in his system sad to say. So the officer gave him A blue paper and said he had to submit a new application in February and retake the medical that was back in July. Then I emailed her for instructions now that February is here she said once application is submitted I have to email them for a interview date
