Anyone here knows if its ok that i will be the one to book a ticket online here in Philippines using Credit Card of my husband but the Physical Card is not with me its on my Husband(in the USA). This would be an international flight from Philippines to USA. I have had the infos of the cc though. Its just that my husband cant book for me coz his internet was lost and I need the ticket ASAP. Am i in trouble for doin this? Im planning through Korean Airlines should they let me board?

Dont stress yourself with that aka thing, even me insisted to the Nbi staff to put aka but she said she can only put if theres any corrections on birth certificate. So what i have here is the same format as yours, atleast it still shows our married and maiden name in there. Goodbless

I have a friend whos having an interview last week shes cr1 too, her nbi format was not showing any Aka, coz its still shows her maiden name and married name, the same format u have and all went well for her.

If u were a Cr1, yes u can receive email from NVC stating ur case number, iin and benificiarys number. 2 days after ,u can start fill up ur ds261 the choice of agent then Aos and 1V bill will come later.

Same situation here, im done with my ds260 and submitted with my still valid passport details on it, our lawyer told me thats its ok, so i ammended my passport using my married name , as what i know what matter most is whats in the passport show in the interview is that the one they verified and copied in visa, ssn and greencard.

If u were married like more than 2years u were directly get the 10year card regardless that u applied Cr1at first.

How about if all the petition papers were in married name then filled up in ds260 in maiden name coz the passport still in maiden name. Is there possible that the embassy hold your visa long till u can produce ur passport in married name?

I think its kinda late to change status now, in next day gonna fill up ds260 then will send civil docs to NVC with passport biopage, I read somewhere here thats ok if still using maiden name but cant find the links. Anyway thanks.

My passport still shows my maiden name but my petition papers were all in my married name, now got me confused. Is it really matters that my passport still my single name in an interview? Salamat.

Keep an eye on it, am not sure if u can get the earliest one but who knows, maybe someone cancel, but u might need to get that 26 first atleast u have the date coz maybe next day june is all booked ,u can still do the reschedule twice though..

Just chill..Priority date also u can find this in the email from NVC when u get ur MNL#..so input that date,

look the first notice u received from USCIS or so called the Noa1 where shows the received date or the priority date.

wow that's almost two months before you received your case number. i hope we can have ours within this month

I just received an email from USCIS that they will ship our case to NVC today, March 31, 2014. Godbless us all

awwwe good for u, we received our case number yesterday from the time they shipped out(feb.7) and til March 31, so try to figure out..

Wait for ds261 to be available within a few days. Make sure when u have ur case number and iin its best to give both your email addresses to the operator. Also its ok to check ceac website every now and then for availability of ds261.No need to wait for email since at times its delayed.

My I-130 was approved last March 21. We were able to contact NVC last Friday but they said that they dont have the case yet. Told me to call again after eight weeks. Seriously?? It will take eight weeks to know if they receive oir case or not? Im plannig to call again within this week though. Some approved cases arrived in NVC after a week. Why would he tell me to wait for eight weeks.

My USCIS status is still.post decision activity. If they will ship it in NVC will my status changed or it will be the same. How will I know if USCIS already ship our case to NVC?

as for my case when they shipped it out we received this update in uscis case status... and from that date we have until today we have had our case number already.

Thats why my passport still on my maiden name, we are stuck on NVC for case number, do u think it wont hurt me in later time because i didnt change my passport into my married name? the requirements argh

Whats next for this? We havent heard anythin from NVC..It will be 21 days .I assume we need the case number thingy from them before we will do all the forms like DS.

Do we need to call them? or we will just wait..We are Cr1 route...

Being you are IR/CR-1 the process is different than for the K-1. Did you get an expedite because of Yolanda or are you just the normal spousal visa process. I believe NVC will be contacting you next for what to do or what is needed.

We got expedite in USCIS stage for the typhoon and i dont know if that expedite will go along to the NVC stage, if i may ask how long our case maybe completed?
