I checked the USCIS website and for almost two months I only see case was received with no additional details. My husband received the Fingerprint request which he did on Nov 11th but since then all I see is case received but no initial review. Is this normal?

My husband entered US based on K1 visa. we filled all documents together but a month a later his I765 was

rejected as the appication was not signed. We signed the document and sent it back with I-485 NOA1 notice to show that they were filled together first time. Today we received I-131 notification that " n November 12, 2014, we produced your Advance Parole Document for your Form I-131, Application For USCIS Travel Document." but nothing on the EAD 1-765. The status changed on EAD from Initial review to Case has been received. I read in other forums that I-131 and I-765 should come in combo card but as of today we are very confused and do not know if this will apply since they were first submitted together or it will come desperately since we had to resubmit. Please help!!!!

Do not worry about that one. It's just a step USCIS takes. Some people say ohhhh you should be approved within days but in my case I received that on Nov 4th ,2013 and wasnt approved till March 14th,2014. No one knows exactly what does that mean but in any case be patient and wait.

It just means that your petition is in the system and they've assigned an ARN to your case. The thing to look out for will be your NOA2. That means it actually has been approved.

No It does not mean they have been approved. I dont know where you got these information from but when they are approved. the messages says " We have sent you a notice that your I129 has been approved"

this explains the whole process nice and clearly and should answer any questions you have.

After only 144 days we got approved. It took a lot of patients and wait time but over all when I received the text at 9:30 pm EST, I jumped to my computer to find out the Status. At first, I did not want to open it but then I prayed and went for it. I couldn't believe my eyes "we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)" . I called my fiancé but of course he is asleep so I texted him. I couldn't wait till morning.

I wish everyone the best of luck. There is still along process but at least we know where we are now.

couple questions:

My fiancé is in London. What documents or forms we need for the interview? How does it go after NVC receives the form from USCIS?

I forgot to make a copy of my K1 forms before sending it but I do have originals as we printed each form twice and signed it just in case the first one gets lost in the mail and we wanted to save time since I live in the US and my Fiancé in London. Does it really matter to have a copy of the forms and how can I go about doing that if it's mandatory.
