  1. What are the step by step process for renewing Philippine passport and changing my surname to married name? I live in Fairfield, married for almost 2 years, my Philippines passport will be expiring the next 8 months and we plan to travel the next 5 months out of the country, since the visa requirements is always 6months before valid passport will expired I am a little bit short. Does any one have any suggestion or experience of the same topic please help. thank you

  2. My father who is 62 lives in Nabua, Camerines Sur. He suffers from high blood pressure and has risk of stroke. He should be entitled to automatic full PhilHealth coverage but when he needs to go to the hospital they charge him in excess of PhilHealth coverage and if he does not have money they will keep him there until he pays. Is this true. I hear that many hospitals charge you what they want and withhold medicine that they are supposed to give you through PhilHealth and make you go and pay at a pharmacy outside the hospital. I would appreciate any expert advice regarding Philhealth and how to avoid the doctors and hospitals from ripping off the patient. The local Barangay is supposed to help with a discount for medicine but they told him "since your daughter is married to an American you should give your benefit to someone else who really needs it". Is there a method to the madness?

  3. I highly recommend using Google Chrome along with Auto Refresh Plus. You can set it for pop up notification and play music as soon as it finds the text "available" when it refreshes your dashboard.

It increases your chances by 100%. Tip: as soon as you get a notification click the pop up to turn off the refresh and then click continue. If you click continue first your screen will still refresh according to the time setting and you will loose your appointment

  4. Damn, I was too slow 4 times last night. As soon as I heard the alarm go off I stopped the auto refresher, clicked continue and selected a date on the calender. Twice I even selected the little check box for the date on the calender that I selected. But in the end I received an error message and the date was gone! I'm even more inspired now. I'm going to make this happen.

  5. We would like to thank everyone for their invaluable input and information on this site. We have paid our fee and signed up to make an appointment online. So far no appointments are available. We noticed that the dashboard photos other members have posted shows on the top left side-Schedule Appointment. Ours shows- Continue-New Application/Schedule Appointment. Are we doing something wrong? Please see attachments. The first one is ours. The other is what others are posting. Why the difference?

  6. I met Jessica online and it was just a casual hello and I am interested in you. A few months later my friends and I booked a vacation to the Philippines to see the sights and do some diving. I wrote Jessica and told her that I would be in Manila and please send me your phone number and I will text you when I get here and maybe we can meet. We were able to meet and I knew I liked her. We were able to meet again for a real date and I had no doubt that I want to spend the rest of my life with her. Currently I am awaiting for passport photos and a signed letter of intent from Jessica and then I'm ready to send the I29-f packet. I am 58 and she is 30.
